Thank You.. AI will never replace a Great Documentary Host. (You're not a robot are you? 😁).
The american bombing raids were childs play compared to thr much bigger more successfull british raids
🪐
Outstanding documentary series. Great details on the campaigns. Thank you for sharing these.
Without Soviets mostly Russians you'll still be in the chains of nassis but well you would like that anyway.
Letter of the law should be argued along with the spirit of the law. Someone qualified to argue law before the Supreme Court should be ashamed of themselves for taking seriously the idea that cheating to win an election is allowed in our system of government.
They gotta get "Sizzily"!
Wow, I didn't know Jewish people were "shipped" from all over. Imagine all those scenes
"unconditional surrender"
Equivalent
Unnecessary 3,000,000 lives lost
Fantastic video as usual! One of the best history channels on youtube.
⭐️ A lot of information 👍
Unfortunately it is given in a very big hurry. 🤦♂️ 🙄
Tooze in Wages of Destruction makes the crucial point that the bombing campaign generally diverted industrial capacity from what they needed to win the war on the ground, comparing for example production of fighters vs tanks. He makes a persuasive case that opportunity cost makes Allied bombing more decisive than the direct cost suggests.
Curtis LeMay was no guilt-ridden airman. He was a pig headed, ambitious bureaucrat of a general, and him pantomiming sympathy for German civilians brought me a synical laugh. Look into his 'leadership' of the Berlin airlift after the war for more of his 'brilliance'.
My grandfather died Stalingrad 1943 Don river
,🇺🇲🇺🇦🇺🇲👍
1943 was when things fell apart but one can hardly call it a turning point…that happened earlier.
Another great documentary! Thank you for all the hard work
The turning point was all Stalingrad 1942
OMG! This video is the closest to reading a book that I have ever seen. Information dense and professionally narrated in North American English. This channel is gold! 🥇
The reason Axiss uboat losses were so great, is because of Allied Sonar comming into sevice !
That is why Allied convoys were able to get across the Atlantic. !
Mike.
HaHa…das ist ja alles ein kaputter Hirnfick. Ich kiffe einfach weiter und gehe morgen früh wieder arbeiten. In einem KRITIS Infrastrukturbetrieb. 😛
Excellent video.
Amazing video. Idk if you’ve done this but could you touch on or make a video about sonderkommandos?
Disappointing how Europe turned out in 2024
That Encyclopedia Britannica always with the blue misinformation box !
Stalingrad was the moment the US realised they must Intervene in the war in Europe to prevent a communist Europe. A far right Europe they could live with hence the US and it's black rights and KKK problems.

4:50 very true. The Brits and Canadians also did all the fighting in Italy and the US troops walked in to Rome to take the glory.
really great doco, thanks
