  1. Apple makes a statement with it's limited release of Apple Vision Pro and it's spatial computing. It basically says they are in the game, and they going to be the lead players in this field and even, if others have left a mark, Apple understands the competition and the need to innovate in this vr/ar space. It's better to be in the game and make baby steps in the time of innovation, than to try to make room where others put their staples already and become iconic in this domain. I am sure they dont want to sell iphones and macbooks for the next 20 years to come. Yeah, they dont know what they're doing in terms of practical applications of the Vision Pro other than what they already presented, but they'll figure out how it's going to make an impact along the way. I feel like they got the basics right for the time being. I imagine from 2 years from now we will have another discussion about this and reflect back on how much it has evolved since it's shy release. Bare in mind, the market was created. I think that is all what it matters.

  2. The solo strap is probably going to be a total bust, but you know what would be a cool use for the technology? a new type of Watch strap. There isn’t a first-party strap to my knowledge that has a simple automatic adjustment system, so using the same mechanism could change the way Apple’s solo loops work.

  3. I have a quest 1 and my dad has a quest 3. The difference in weight is noticeabley worse on the o.g. Quest. I am baffled by the vision pro having glass and a screen facing forward. It seems like the forst thing that should've been removed to save weight…..

  4. Hey guys, creare an episode or maybe a main channel video about "The effects of MKBHD and Waveform" on tech manufacturers. I'm sure you guys alone have made an impact and change the way Apple, Samsung, etc think and design their products and I'm sure it'll be an interesting watch. Starting from MKBHD quote on the apple events

  5. There will be an Apple Vision (non pro) or Vision Air within a year. Most people will wait for that. This expensive first product is for developers and to build excitement and manage expectations for when the “low price” one is still 1500-2000 ish.

  6. From apple site on the bottom when watching vision pro check the temperature when it's used, max recommended 30 celsius, they wil blow up in future on some areas? let's see, also 2k for repair, enjoy bros haha

  7. I am curious if Photoshop will run on it natievly. Eithwr way, with a macbook you can just connevt to it an bliw up the screen ans work on you macbook. Its kida fascinating to me and i wish i coudl try how is wokring on it.

  8. So Apple is basically lying to their customers by "saying" you are going to look this cool while actually they will look just as dorky as anyone wearing any regular VR headset.

  9. For those commenting on the weight. Army Helmets are between like 3/8 and 5+ lbs depending on the size. It takes very little time to get use to wearing them for extended periods and we are talking the better part of a day, like 16+ hours. It's a non-issue.

  10. The main concert that I see no one is talking about the Vision Pro is that the light seal seems to be the same material as the AirPods Max pads… which are sooo warm that make your ears get very hot and sweaty, I really hope this seal be different and not as hot as the pads
