I think Bougherra or Vahid should be the new manager for Algeria
Thank him for what? He's done more damage than good. In 2019 the players were on top of the their game and they performed accordingly. He's arrogance cost us 2 chance in the AFCON and the world cup. I say shame on him. He's nothing but a servant to the good people of Algeria nothing less and nothing more.
I would suggest give Majid Bougherra a chance and see how it goes

As much as I love Vahid Halilhodลพiฤ and appreciate everything he has done for Algeria, I just think heโs too old. The guy is in his 70s and I donโt know how much we would benefit from him at this point in time. I think the most qualified candidate is Magid Bougherraโฆ.Bougherra is one of our former players, he knows the current squad very well and he proved that he can lead a team. Letโs not forget he took Algeria A to the CHAN finals!
I say we give Bougherra a chance as interim manager and see how he does with the WC qualifiers this June and go from there. InshaAllah feha khair ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐คฒ๐ผ

I just watched the highlights from other African matches and they all got lucky breaks but we didn't. There were penalties, own goals, var decisions and goals scored in acres of space from un marked players ! Subhanallah.

I want Bougharra, we did well with an Algerian coach. And heโs already familiar with a lot of the players. I personally dont want a foreign coach, it hasnโt worked out well in the recent past.

1. Herve Renard: He will clean up. Lots of experience and good rigor.
2. Vahid: It may be his last stop, he is quite old. He also has a score to settle with Morocco after he qualified and they released him anyway. The CAN 2025 in Morocco is perfect for him.
3. Antar Yahia: Legendary player. Experience as an director at USM and Orleans. Currently assistant coach in the third division in France. He could shape an era and not be gone after two tournaments like Renard or Vahid. On the other hand, it could also be an embarrassmentโฆ
4. Bougherra: He gives me Belmadi vibes. I don't think he's the right one. But we will seeโฆ

Dean, greeting from Cameroon. There we go again, another sacking due to Afcon poor results. I really didn't want to hear such a news when it comes to Belmadi a man I have so much respect for. I was looking forward to seeing the Algerian FA exercise some patience again which is not the case this time around. I love Belmadi and what he has done for Algerian football as a player and Manager. Winning the Afcon is something that Doesn't happen so easily. As a coach he has had heart breaking moments and i felt for him. Nevertheless he is one of the few African coaches to win the Afcon. Dean i cannot claim to know the ins and outs of Algerian football like u do or most Algerians but with my little knowledge having watched the Algerian team and Belmadi, i realised that Belmadi is not the issue, he might have had his own faults which is normal for any coach, it is just that when a team performs not up to expectations the weight of the pressure will rest on the shoulders on the Coach. I have watched Algerian games, the players must put in more energy, determination, strech themselves more and must be consistent in it. The way they devote themselves to their clubs they must do even more for the country. All the things i listed have been in the Algerian team but it must always be on a rise every game. I hope the players cooperate more with the next Manager, I dont know who but I am sure there is someone in Algeria that can continue from where Belmadi stopped. I will always recommend we look from within than without. Someone who has the passion for Algerian and Africa football. I really look forward to the new coach, it is important he tops that zone and qualifies Algerian for the world cup. With the help of Belmadi and his players they have a comfortable 6points already. Renard would never coach Algeria. He already rejected Algeria when they were trying to offer him more money than Morocco to coach them. Plus, he bleeds Morocco. For all I know, that man is Moroccan and invited to the cookout.
I think algeria is going into a dark time in football. and remember this we are not going to qualify for AFCON 2025 and world cup 2026.
