Ethiopian food is nasty as hell
Want more details of recipes and herbs😂❤
You are pushing me to eat my laptop us food 😫
After watching this 2 years ago I tried a restaurant in my area and been hooked ever since. I’ve tried many dishes and even have my kids hooked lol. The way he explained it was exactly how it tasted when I tried it. I used to order so much of the bread that the owners of the restaurant asked me to place ahead notice because it takes days to make that bread.
It looks so amazing. But I'm not sure about dattttttt
My attempt of making Doro wat!!!! https://youtu.be/EqO6ugQCxk8?si=8bNo-3AD7b3qvvZP
Oooooo! From Rwanda with love❤❤❤
Doro wat is my favourite Ethiopian dish, very similar to an Indian curry but hotter
It's quite off putting watching him talk through a smile during the ENTIRE filming. Dude, no one smiles that much.
The chicken cleaning process alone is so impressive. The whole dish looks amazing and it is understandable why its reserved for special occasions. Nicely done!

Mark Wiens if you ever come to Nigeria. Come to the Southeastern part of the country. Cross River States to be precise because thats were I was born. My state is said to have the best Nigerian food in the country.
You must request the followuing dishes.
1. Authentic Nigerian Jollof Rice with old layer hens [grilled], plantains and moi moi as side dishes [also known as party rice & one of the nation's national dishes]
2. Edikaikong soup with pounded yam fufu [a favorite of village chiefs and kings]
3. Catfish Peppersoup [this one is my favorite]
4. And last but not the least, Nigerian Suya [probably the best barbecued meat on the planet]
Cheers
Thank you Mark Wiens, They are nice couple 👍

Seam to be delicious
That's beautiful seeing husband and wife working together and not in competition with each other
I've made this dish once. Making it again as I type this. I have had Doro Wat many times in restaurants the world over and I am always amazed at the flavor of this dish. Is there a recipe available that this family used in the video? #delish
The respect you pay to the locals, hosts and food is impeccable Mark 🙏
The hospitality top notch.. Not to take the fun and respect from this; makes me think that the African hospitality is what had the colonisers take our land/resources..
Hospitality is ingrained in us..
Thanks Mark, finally someone who took the time to show how the quintessentially authentic & laborious preparation of Doro watt. 👍🏾
I saw it in your face that the food was good. Your face had to swim in it 😢
Watching the whole process was super interesting! The host has an amazing smile)

Such a lovely smiley family! Love the hospitality! Love from NY ❤
i loved this content, as i see ETHOPIANS have huge generosity & kindness towards their guests, the way they enjoyed offering Marks after lots of HARDWORK right from cutting chicken & curry preparation, i was pleased to watch ethopian culture like my southindian village where i feel my parents do that to their guests, moreover, Mark videos shows culture of different nations, a big thumbsup & a bow to mark
Love and respect to this couple they are so Humble they make mark feel at home. May God bless you sending love from Eritrea🇪🇷. In Eritrea and Ethiopia hosting a guest is a honer. If you meet Ethiopian or Eritrean any where in this world they are the best ppl to interact if you do please do not take them forgranted.
Yummy
…and a HUGE thank YOU and the kind Ethiopean family for sharing!!
