Thanks so much for watching!
(and I know… its Vil-noove)
The real Lawrence of Arabia was butt violated by the filthy degenerate muslim sex addicts. 🤢
Fun film but a tragic failure of an adaptation.
Thanks for the dense informative video!
About the casting, all I can say is that there are still any diversity complaints after part 3 airs, then I’ll take them seriously.
Mahdi doesn't pave the way for the messiah in shia belief
Lesan al gaib is also the Takhallos of the Persian poet Hafiz
Correction, Muslims have a totally different Jesus, and although he’s the messiah in their religion, he didn’t save them, and they deny his death and resurrection which means he’s not the same Christ at all
This movie series is absolutely demonic
If I am not mistaken tabr is the origin of Bible scholar James Tabor's surname
Lisan Al-Ghaib was the nick name for Persian poet "Hafez". Hafez was a Crypto-Mithraic poet that his most famous book "Divan" is still being used as a method of divination (an occult technique to get answers from Either)- Kinda similar to wester Tarot. Therefore, Lisan Al-Ghalb means: Voice from Either! I believe this is the most accurate answer!
"Iranian" order of Assassins!
Ah this is super interesting, thanks for making his video, I'm definitely interested look into all of this further. I'm a big fan of the books and movies. 🙂
Everything was going fine until Prophet Ibrahim's (pbuh) story about leaving prophet Ismail (pbuh) and mother Hajar in the desert. Thats not true at all
At 8:00 Hajer was the prophet Abraham second wife. not concubine.
To expand on the Lawrence bit,
while I can't really say anything about the Movie but I do agree somewhat that it not showing the British and French Betray the Arabs is bad and its general datedness,
there were divisions within the Arab World at the time, each clan had their own interests and joined together to fight the Ottomans,
The main Arabic leader was also betrayed by the British because they pulled out (wanting to Carve out the Near East with France) support resulting in the rise of the House of Saud,
While the Arab rebels at the time did respect Lawrence and his precence did aid them he wasn't really that big of a factor in the success of the Rebellion though Lawrence did support the Arab's goals, however the Main Arabic Faction did need the Support of the British Empire to fight the Ottomans but not need as in a Colonial Overlord mind set but more a practical "we need guns and ships, so we would risk this type of deal" one, the Hussaini Rebels didn't really have any options at least politically which made the British Betraying their goals of independence that more bitter.
Fremen, are not native to the planet Arrakis.
11:42 ??????????
Islam fron ….
You real nead to read more
I'd like to see an actual Muslim do a breakdown like this, it would be more nuanced and accurate I feel
Great video I must say, and as this video is a great intellectual and research based I'd like to add something to it to try and share some info.
In islam there's is no concept of a Holy war, war in Islam is a necessity in certain cases and is never holy.
To expand, if you read the Quran you will see (al-jihad fi sabil Allah) which translates to"Those who struggle in the way of god " or "striving in the path of God"
Britiannica puts it in a nice way based upon a Hadith(the Prophet teachings) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "A well-known Hadith therefore refers to four primary ways in which jihad can be carried out: by the heart, the tongue, the hand (physical action short of armed combat), and the sword.".
I know it all seems as a matter of semantics, but it boils down to war and fighting is never a Holy act, but only to prevent what is wrong to promote what is right as a last mean,
so in self defense, lifting injustice, and to give people their rights. Within that last type of Jihad there are protocols as it's not easy to fight as a muslim (hence a stuggle too) the rules of engagement for the combatants are:
1. The adversary should not be burnt alive.
2. The Wounded enemy should be protected
3. The Prisoner of War Should not be Slain
4. No one Should be Tied to be Killed
5. No Looting and Destruction in the Enemy's Country
6.No taking/stealing of the defeated group property
7. Respecting the Sanctity of a Dead Bodys
8. Return of Corpses of the Enemy
9 .Prohibition of Breach of Treaties
and these are just a few and it's about the ones that are literally fighting you so that's a part of the struggle.
There's a well known verse in the Quran that some some people repeate a lot which says:
"And Prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may Terrify the enemy of Allāh and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allāh knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allāh will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged." (surah 8: 60)
This verse is used as a decleration of war with terror, but it clearly shows how it is a means of prevention than spreading fear.
Terrify here mainly means intimidate, so they can't or won't fight you as the case is with countries nowadays, they build big weapons to make the other think twice
before thinking of attacking them because in the end they don't want a fight a war because war is not desired and in Islam it's not Holy.
There are multiple examples, verses, and Prophetic teachings as well as the early history of islam that could put it more into prespective and as I see you of a great affinity to knowladge and research I invite you and others to read the Quran for yourselves and come with your own conclusions; I promise you, you'll not be disappointed if you go with an open heart.
In short,
is fighting permissible in islam? yes, in defense of oneself, property, people, justice, Islam
"War is never holy the reason you fight is"
And I'd like to end with this verse of the Quran which is the verse right after the one I mentioned earlier:
"If the enemy is inclined towards peace, make peace with them. And put your trust in Allah. Indeed, He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing." (surah 8:61)
I think a big part of Franks inspiration is the actual origin story of Islam – the rise of the Prophet Muhammad (speaking the words of God – on his "lisan") and leading the Arabs in a holy war, which later caused them expand out of Arabia to conquer two superpowers the Persians and the Byzantines – furthermore later in Dune Messiah the character of Alia and her conflict with Paul's Son Leto is reminiscent of Aisha's (the Prophet's wife) war against Ali (practically like an adopted son of the Prophet) during what is known as the First Fitna.
What was the music for the Kwisatz Haderach part of the video?
you can see this al ready in sufisim
Thanks!
