  1. For those that skip through this video without watching it's entirety, the "Big Changes" we talk about in this video are about RV parking near the Las Vegas strip and Freemont Street, not so much about camping changes. 👍🙂🤓

  2. We always stay in our travel trailer at the park at Nellis Air Force Base. It's far enough off the strip to be away from that scene when we want to be away, but also close enough if we're going to see a show or an event. Thanks though for sharing what you've found with trying to find low cost accommodations.

  3. I know it's a little thing, but I really like it when your driving down the Interstate (or hwy) and you stop the camera for a slit second. So I can read where you are.
    Thanks!

  4. Great video! I talked with a newly retired friend who’s interested in becoming an RVer. I recommended your channel as you’ve shared traveling in Vinnie, Stella and now the Gretch. Your content will give him great insight as he begins his research! Safe travels!

  5. The algorithm brought me by, I'm now subbing.

I'm on my 3rd RV. First was a '29 C, second was a 39' A (the Moneypit), and now I have a 29' bumper pull toy hauler (for my Can Am Spyder). We full timed 5 years in the C, and a year in the A.

I'm finding that Vegas is wanting a higher spending clientele, more spending per visitor, or "quality over quanity"

Have you stayed at The Oasis, on South LVB? That was my go to, but my last rate check was $100 a night. So, I'm glad you pointed out the Main Street Station property, that may be my answer.

Looking forward to more of your content!

  6. Amazing, in 2005 I stayed at MS station campground. Registered at the hotel , campground was $12 per night or $60 weekly! We paid the $60 and I told the desk clerk we would leave when tired of Vegas or broke. I put $10 in a poker machine mounted in the bar, hit for $1200, sprang for that great buffet for the family, left town with the rest of their money couple days later. Warm place in my heart for Main Street Station to this day!
Love your videos, keep them coming.

  7. We’ve never camped in Vegas. We have thought about it. But I love the hotels in town.
Is this a trend that you are seeing in resort areas? Limiting the number of camping opportunities?
I have noticed that HH has reduced the number of available spots in wine areas. Specifically Temecula and Paso Robles.

  8. I remember when all/most parking was free !! We would fly in, rent a car and have a lot of flexibility….Now we just fly in and use Uber and Lyft… Good video…Be Safe!

  9. After retiring from the military I flew business jets for a company that catered to wealthy clients. Flew into and out of Vegas many times. Not a fan. Sorry all these changes have a negative impact on your travels there, but it makes me glad I don’t care for Vegas.

  10. I enjoy y'all adventures. It's very entertaining and informative. If you're still in the Las Vegas area are you planning any meet ups? Let me know cause I am very interested in meeting with y'ou guys.if y'all are planning any meet up while in Las Vegas NV
