AS A BLACKMEN I LOVE SEEING SISTERS WITH THERE NATURAL HAIR ALL HAIR TYPES KEEP GRINDING GODDESS❤❤❤❤
So sad. She is actually so beautiful. All I see is perfect lips perfect nose for her facial shape. She actually has features people pay thousands for. And don’t get me started on her eye shape. I’m sure the right natural style or turban/wrap would look so much better than that thing on top of her hair.
Leave the woman alone, Mademoiselle. Just leave her alone. She didn't mean no harm. Why are you cussing in your video Mademoiselle. I'm out.
Leave the woman ALONE she meant no harm. You're too harsh on her. Just leave her alone. I have been wearing natural hair for years, and i didn't feel she meant no harm. You referencing we too old for this indicating she's too old to be talking like this is offensive. Madamnoselle leave her alone. Please.
She needs to speak for herself
And get some deep therapy
The woman is real. Black hair does not grow as fast or as long as indian, chinese or white women hair.
All black women don't have the same texture of hair or know how to keep the maintenance up on their hair but trust black women hair can does grow
I really hope this woman has a catharsis somewhere along the way and learns to love her hair. I think she has such an interesting face and eyes. She could be so beautiful with something other than that mop wig.
"You are beautiful sis, can I get your number?"
Said no black man ever to her 😅
I truly believe our natural hair is very much a part of our magic. It makes me feel powerful and confident and strong. Perhaps she thinks that isn’t feminine but she’s so wrong. Sad for her
She's brainwashed
You sound defeated. You need to tell yourself every day you are beautiful. It shouldn't matter how other people feel about you with or without natural hair. I pray that you get some self-esteem.
But even with her wig on she doesn't look feminine
It's really sad that you feel the natural hair that God gave you doesn't make you feel beautiful and all those fake hair do.
I think we need to break down and question how femininity and beauty standards have been constructed. I feel really bad for her and her kids and grandkids (she's probably got them).
My hair has been long my entire life. Speak for yourself.
We learn beauty standards a lot of the time in things we’re exposed to. If you are exposed to friends and family who are always chemically changing their hair and not wearing their real hair out. Then you subconsciously learn your hair is something to hide and hate. That it’s not a option. To feel everyone is staring at you and hating it if you even wear it on the street.
It’s generations of western influence that has taught us not to like our natural hair. If a white person had said these things then there would be outrage. As you said , it’s more that she directed it to everyone rather than just her personally.
But what really makes me sad and empathetic is maybe the ignorance. she has been taught to think this way about her own hair and that society and culture has shaped her beliefs. If she maybe went to a country where everyone had more natural hair she may find a love for it.
But it’s hard , especially with as you said , men also being manipulated by western culture to see white , straight hair as more beautiful. It’s just all exposure. Once you find friends that appreciate and love your hair then your opinions may change. But it’s all deep rooted teachings that is sad but true. This lady is a victim of cultures influence. But it’s time to break free and find knowledge on YouTube and the internet. Then you will soon appreciate how complex , beautiful and unique your hair truly is. ❤️
As messed up as this may sound she knows that she’s not the standard of beauty and I hate to say this but she’s right people in our own community wouldn’t go for her because she would look too black for them features and hair 💯
I tried to wear less wigs especially most made with asian hair (a different race) if it is not a wig that is synthetic. We should start loving our own hair
I’m 45, and about 15 years ago, natural hair surged in popularity and I was like “YES!” we finally made it. I’ve had natural hair and locks since then. Then about 5 years ago or so I started seeing all these beautiful melenated queens with stick straight hair. It was shortly after that I realised the prevalence of lace front wigs and my heart sank. Nothing wrong with straightening your natural hair occasionally or often, but to cover it up entirely and neglect your true crown just breaks my heart.
Hair os hair!!!
She need to just talk about herself because I know for a fix black woman can grow there hair seems to me she has self hate my daughter and granddaughters hair is at there waist so what black women are she talking about I have seen a lot of black woman with long hair besides my daughter and granddaughters self hate is still going on love yourself love every inch of your selfs that woman has problems with herself
I am a black woman it took me a while to learn my hair. Now I know it’s all about moisture you need to water your hair like a plant you need to condition your hair we need to learn how to twist and do all type of braids. Have time to actually make our natural hair look presentable in the morning. If you’re lazy, this will be your mindset. And doing something once a month and not staying consistent will get you nowhere. Love your black hair it will love you back.
Mam, you don't even look feminine with that wive! Props to her for the self-awareness tho.
It takes longer to grow because of the texture. You don't see the length because of the shrinkage.
PS those of you who feel this type of way need to speak for yourselves, y'all can't speak for people as a whole!
Look, I get what you're saying about YOUR hair not growing at a fast rate, however that's not the case when it comes to Black hair in particular. As a Black woman, I have never had issues growing my hair, retaining length, or even cutting my hair… My hair growth isn't a struggle and has never been, thank God. Some of our people Do have hair growth problems which is not fair at all. So please let's realize one important thing MY hair grows fast and always has -down my back. Many of my relatives and just Black people in general have Long lustrous hair,. When my hair was short, it's by choice not by Force! All you have to do is take care of your hair and your hair will take care of you!
Black hair DOES grow. Y'all just gotta stop putting all those harmful chemicals in your hair. Notice that it's only Black women who relax their hair and constantly put glue and other poison in their hair that that say "Black hair doesn't grow"??? Pfffttt.
Black Women have beautiful hair. Black womens hair does grow. We have to eat a better diet like our ancestors, drink more water, reduce stress, be on a frequency of happiness and heal our relationships with ourselves, people and our hair. We are beautiful Queens and so is our hair.
She sounds crazy
I think her video was sad. Clearly she has been put down and picked on, so she believes what has been said to her. The entire video was her venting with not a positive remark.
Dam atleast she knows its a shame. Wow my my. She needs therapy. I have real 4c hair and I wear this with pride, not the YouTube 4c hair I mean real 4C hair. Get that lady some mental help.
Y’all talking mess but if she was to wear her natural hair out the criticism would be much worse!
She is super insecure
Ima 🦄 ima rare breed
@melaninwisdomitisherglory 🙏🏾 ❤
Black men constantly compliment my natural hair 24/7 when I'm out lol …. yall need to step outside and get off the internet!
But this woman is right. 90% of black women can't grow hair long .We have bad genetics simple as that. I am from Southern Africa 🌍 and a majority of the black women in my continent including myself have short or medium length hair. And we do try to take care of our hair but still our hair won't grow past our shoulders. It's only a few black women blessed with good genetics can grow their hair all the way to their waist
I hate to be that girl. But ion think the problem is her natural hair. Cause she don’t look feminine with that wig on RN either🤣 I love my natural hair. & one thing I’ve realized is black women look better with their natural hair solely bc it’s more suited to our face
I just wanna say our hair actually does grow, its just that our hair texture show it off at all until its been a while.
My hair is very coily and is shoulder length when coiled but if its straightened it goes down to my back and is constantly getting longer. I do believe people whose hair is coily and grows very long very fast shouldnt project onto others though because it really isnt all that common for hair to grow so fast that it gets all the way to your knees and hips.
I so loved how you got real with this video. Black women are the highest standard of beauty. Globally women are surgically appropriating black beauty aesthetics, full lips, plump buts, ant or wasp like bodies, deep set eyes and yes fake tans. Black women are put down while their beauty is being appropriated. Not a new thing..as in cultural appropriation! Now for the hair..you gave examples that countered an erroneous belief system . A whole lot of black women have a whole lot of black hair! Then there is the women issue. All women need to know that they do not have to adhere to synthetic beauty standards. Men like every type of women. I always tell my friends to go to the grocery store and look at the couples. The men are not pushing grocery carts with super models with mermaid hair!! I love how you made that point!! Thank you!
I know this lady will look so beautiful with short natural hair or just natural hair more than that wig.
Self hate and low self esteem. Maybe some mental illness.
Sorry, I can't take her seriously.
I wonder if that lady knows how to take care of her hair because once you learn how to take care of your hair it really does grow long, Growing up me and my sister always had long hair because my mom took great care of our hair and she made sure to remind us that our hair is beautiful. I always loved all the different types of hairstyles that she did for me and my sister growing up. I also know that some things are genetics, but to say that black woman can’t grow long hair really is upsetting.
This was painful to watch! She just open her mouth WAAAAA
Why did she feel the need to project her insecurities onto a whole group of women? She should instead focus on healing
SIT DOWN MA’AM. Speak for yourself Sis. I ❤ my hair at ALL lengths, and my beauty and femininity are not measurable by my hair, but my delicious aura and spirit.
