Cassava leaves are cooked and eaten in the south pacific islands too. Cooked in coconut milk with added local spices and fish. ❤ your recipe, will definitely try it coz it looks delicious!

This is NOT a traditional food of Rwanda. This word ISOMBE comes from the congolese kiswahili SOMBE which means cassava leaves. Cassa leaves is one of the main food eaten in congo . Rwandans do not have any history of eating sombe. You guys are liers.

i use fresh real cassava leaves from my garden, i add salted fish i eat with boiled plantain called gonja
I will attempt to purchase some cassava leaves as soon as I can,and try to make this dish, I already know that I will add some Saint Lucian dumplings.
Its a pity I cannot taste this dish, I assume it is very very tasty and nutritious.
