Donal is in a city on the edge, somewhere a conflict can occur without warning. A place where violent crime is nearly three times the national average and where anyone can get caught in the mayhem. He’s in South Africa to visit one of the World’s Toughest Towns

Get it together South Africa blacks. African American here. Apartheid has been over for more than a minute. What are you doing there? Another Haiti? This is RIDICULOUS and a shame.
17:41 Wow. Suburban Guns has changed a lot since then.
Why blame apartheid it has nothing to do with this…..
JHB is more safe 😅
Sun Men Behaviour
This is bizarre news as South Africans are flooding to Cape Town to escape rising lawlessness and crime in other parts of South Africa.
As a proud New Englander, I think I will just stick with "Cape Cod". I'm sure Cape Town is more beautiful, but I can do without the crime. 🚬😎🍸
This is an old doc so maybe it is worse now.
Aparthied ended 30+ years ago, what is South Afrika's excuse now. We all know e.g. Oakland, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, etc. We know the race that just keeps on committing ALL THE CRIMES!!! THAT RACE JUST KEEPS ON CRYING RACISM AND ALWAYS BLAMING THE OTHER RACES FOR ALL THEIR PROBLEMS!!!
NAC are the gangsters of South African. Mr. Nelson is turning in his grave 😢very saddened by what become of his legacy.
South Africa will always have lasting effects of apartheid. I don’t see it changing anytime soon.
Did Johannesburg get its own episode?! Because all South Africans know that the crimes are worse there than in CT.
It depends where you live as well. I grew up and later worked in the southern suburbs (evening shift I only left work at +- 3am) and I never experienced any crime. I wouldnt have been so lucky if I lived in a different area though….
My heart goes out to that mom. Either way she had lost her son. No one helped her. The youngsters are being stolen by drugs and gangs. So not fair.
Finally Mandela's dream is becoming a reality…
The crazy thing is I came from watching a video of Orania into this video.. what a difference.
No don't blame apartheid
It's then worse now
Because people wanted to live so
In freedom
Footage from 2007??? I was in Cape Town recently and never felt unsafe.
Love that they used a 50 cent instrumental 😂❤❤
Mandela promised to establish a rainbow nation where skin colour and race was irrelevant. But like every other former colonial country in Africa it's a crime ridden poverty striken corrupt hellhole. The white citizen's will be forced out of the country just like they were in Zimbabwe.Every week white farmers And their families are attacked often killed and sometimes raped I've come to the conclusion black Africans are simply incapable of rule rule and the basic principles of democracies.Cant think of one country which has prospered and improved the quality of life for it's people.Exceot for those in power.
Overall, more equality, opportunity and inclusion, etc. and less greed and selfishness, etc. would likely solve a lot of the world’s problems.
This is an old movie. Look at the car models. It is bad in certain areas but jo burg is bad. People are flooding to cape Town from all over the place. Criminals have more rights than the public and drugs are a big problem in sa even in our area
Is this from the 90's? Judging from the video quality and what is shown, it's very old (but is it outdated?)
Anyone know what song is playing at 1:13 ?
Im in South Africa and been attacked twice and had a gun at my head ones.lts all over South Africa.Never get over it
If you are high all the time and you dont know what you are doing or you cant remember what you have done or even who you done it to.No values no standards. This has nothing to do with apartheid. That was 30 yrs ago.No laws no rules anymore.Averyone does what they want.No value for life
