He’s lucky to be alive,there have been incidents where a mom and a brother have actually taken their son and brothers money DIDNT build anything and when the guy came home and found there was no house they were both assasinared. There was actually another one where the mother sent assassins to pick her son up at the airport posing as security sent by his mom. The assassins didn’t kill the guy because he was very good to them he told them to make a stop gave them. All the money on him bought a ticket from the airport and went back to the US.

That's so very true. My own cousin in Nigeria tried something like that on me recently on my house built by my father in Nigeria. But I believe i put him in his place straight away. He didn't get far with that ploy. I immediately disowned him as a cousin.

I think it is best to get a savings bank account in a reliable bank back home and keep your money until you need it. Investing while you are not around is deadly. You'd rather save and get like 12 % per annum than invest with an expectation that never pans out.

Oh my love this information happens in the USA all the time!! My family took advantage of me when I was younger I cut them off and they didn't like it. But I'm dating a Nigerian and I see a lot of leaching going on. He says you get shunned out if he doesn't take care of the whole family but outside of the children and young siblings a sick father there are 3 working adults living in the flat. He's the oldest. It's putting a damper on our relationship.

Keep your money in an account. It may lose some value but don't send nobody money. The only time you send your mama money is if you are the only child. If not, your loving mama will use your money and resources to take care of everyone else. She won't care since all of you her, her kids. Even here in Africa you send money to your mama she eats it with your good for nothing siblings. Don't blame them just be wise
Am a Sierra Leonean living in England, I came here as a teenager I've lived in England for the past 19years, I've helped my elder brother and younger brothers finish their education back home because we lost everything during the Civil War in my country things was very hard when I came here in UK because of my family situation back home I was not ready to continue my education so I decided to take a job to help them, my first job was at burger King.. Lol that's was in 2002 but lately they have been planning to even kill me when I told them to buy a land so that I can build a small apartment for them they told me the cost of the land as soon as they got the money for the land, they hang up on me. They have done it about twice they even told me that am a prustitute here in England and I should not go to them in Sierra Leone. I don't really need to build a house because my parents are no more, they are even the bigger fool's than me because I was thinking about their future by building a house for them and they also said that I don't have an education in England and am not fit to talk to them but as a christain I forgive them for all the lies and pain they have coast me.. When am ready to go for holiday I will stay in a hotel because I have no family in Africa 🙏
