COOK WITH ME| How to make maguru/beef tripe|| Zimbabwean traditional food

In this video I share my favourite recipe for maguru/beef tripe. Maguru is a traditional Zimbabwean dish which is usually eaten with sadza (staple dish).

  1. Apa ndaseka zvangu ndenga, you can not believe what I did as a young girl. My mother prepared maguru, I never used to like it, I took the pot, with the contains ndakanoicherera, mugarden. Very surprising now an old woman, ndakudya.

  2. They bleach the maguru??😂😂 The flavor in my opinion comes from the poop😅 I'd like to imagine bleaching takes away that flavor completely. We have a thing in Malawi where we say you shouldn't over wash them ( "matumbo" in Chewa). Bleaching? Lol that's very interesting.

  3. One of the many things I like about you is; you keep it real. Mmmmh bleached maguru 😲…its actually called magulu in my language TshiVenda 😃
