Blaming and torturing lgbtq while they are much worse.. Africa 👎👎👎👎
A toddler was raped….. so was that because she dressed provocatively???
If the men can't control themselves then separate the women girls and babies from the men. This is awful.
It is the same excuses around the world, "women's clothing" and "we can't control it." If this is truly the case then the male population needs to be controlled through the womb. Enough is enough.
All countries that passed trough civil war have this same disease. Congo DRC for instance. But India is also hell for women
There is nothing more outrageous and categorically untrue that any girl or woman wants to be raped.
The excuses by some of these men that were interviewed were appalling. Claiming that they basically cannot control themselves removes their humanity so I see them as savages.
The fact that this poor country has such a high level of sexual abuse, especially with young children, and so few resources to protect girls and women from rape or after they’ve been violated is a tragedy that is occurring all over the world.
There is no excuse for gender based violence of any kind.
I'm ashame of you guys blaming the women for your mental health problems . Drugs and poor management of the police service .
What is the meaning of hands off our girls, then? And all the money and titles from international support.
No excuses for rape
Why do men hate us?
It's unfortunate that in the society we live in, there have been various groups within the society who for one reason or the other do encourage the idea of early marriage ( from 10 years or so to a male suitor partly because of the custom, or perhaps because of the need to get money from men who would or do practice early under age sex with young females from maybe 8 years ,and so on. Nonetheless, it seems very strange that this practice is not going to end.
I’m getting nauseous watching this🤢it’s literally making me sick to my stomach
May Allah bless this journalist een dae raise awareness about very very important things den way governments n society nor take serious kudos sir🙌 may Allah bless u🙏
Beside corruption African leaders can’t even give their people justice
Justice for Anita's baby 😢
I thought that if I take my children to Africa, we would be safe. But I am finding out that Africa is as dangerous and as bad as every place else. 😭
You blame the women for their dressing how about you acknowledge the fact that you lack SELF CONTROL and RESPECT. The audacity is nauseating
Even in Africa, the women and children are not safe.
Watching from South Africa, this is truly sad. This make me think i made a good decision to never go near any men. Only my late father was a true gentleman
Majority of the sappiest are I. The government and teachers
Those men are sick to blame women, how did that baby girl make that man rape her?The problem is the men mindset that is where and how rape start.
Justice for Anita
Many tribes in Africa have even naked women, and there is not a rape epidemic in many of these primative cultures…this here in Sierra Leone is a matter of sexual perversion. It is an evil spiritual wickedness connected to rape and molestation. The men are bored and lack human dignity. Really, they are dealing with mental anguish of sodomy expanded during war crimes
We don't know what to say
This is really heartening I was In tears while watching this documentary, this is so pathetic to our sisters and mothers in this country Sierra Leone. And it also a big slap to the government by not providing a single vehicle to the "FAMILY SUPPORT UNIT" (FSU) things need to be taken seriously in this country. Thank you so much Mr. Tyson Conteh my president of the filmmakers in the Northern I respect and salute you sir, this documentary of Child Abuse needs to be given informational aware. Please papa government try to put measures in place so this act can be eradicated off our sweet Mama Salone.
Thank you director Idriss from Makeni City ❤
Its not "gender" based violence its SEX based violence!
I'm sick of this stupid word, and being honest, most people in the global south don't even use the word "gender".
I'm from Kenya and non of my documentation has any reference to the word gender, it's my SEX that is recorded. The same goes for all the other nations in Africa.
African men need to drop their primitive behaviors towards women.
They are usually so indifferent towards the suffering of a Black woman in this case, the African black woman.
Crazy ro think that in the western world, women are questioned in courts about what they were wearing when aped.
Where is the girl's father and the woman's husband? Aaahh the brokenness of society, so sad 😭
they are fucked up …..
Vile how these men victim blame. Especially since historically, African traditional costumes were often casual and short. Men need to actively stop misogynistic Se Violence.
That is why they will not progress. Their minds are dirty. So if those fools say is because of the way the women dress that is why they get rape. The baby was wearing nappy.
Are the children dressed provocative, that old ignorant excuse is dead. It's about power and these disgusting men think they can get away with it.
There is no excuse for molesting or raping anyone. Those that talk about the dress code of women as an excuse for rape are part of the problem.
👎🏾 NO MEANS NO MEN!!!!!😡
If Man claim to be the Strong Sexe, the head of the household, the decission maker, the leader…how come they are so weak they can't controle their feelings. A simple thing as controlling their feelings all of a sudden is the womens fault. If these Big Man with their weak controle of feelings had to go through what women had to go through, only for 1 week….they could not do it. Specially when they encounter Man like themselves.
Ahhh AFRICA
Truly Horrific
Unfortunately, I have also experienced this victimization. It was not one man, but three who were supposed to protect me, yet they abused me. I was five, 9 and 11 to 16 years when my mother’s cousin, brother and husband abused at those respectively. The saddest part is that my mother, a school head, refuses to acknowledge the issue and instead accuses me of abusing her whenever I try to bring it up.
It is disheartening to see how common this is in African society, where young children are sexually violated due to dangerous beliefs such as the idea that sleeping with a child can cure HIV/AIDS or that it can bring fortune and wealth.
This cycle of abuse and silence needs to be broken for the safety and well-being of all children.
Women are not safe anywhere. The human race is pointless.
Also is this police guy smiling as he listens to Anita talk about a horific situation she has had no justice with involving a child??????
The dress code of girls and women should not be a yard stick for an excuse to men.
What an upsetting story! Men need to be re-educated, from kindergarten age – about what a woman is, and how to respect her. This is terrible! What a tradegy. A country that has no respect for it's women can never succeed.
Shameless men .
Somebody get them some gd police cars and other tools needed
This is very disturbing
