  2. I got that beyond body book in like 2016-2017 ish and I threw it in the back of the closet cause it’s just generic. It’s nothing special and I was pissed lol. I ended up throwing it away.

    The recipes in that book sound and look horrendous. Aint no one sticking with those! The fact there is VERY little protein in the recipes for whole day us a disaster 😆

  4. Insert "No God No Please No" Steve Carrell gif here. Please, Alexandria, do NOT follow that wretched book for a week. That "diet" is designed to set you up for failure, and you already pointed out the reasons: little to no protein, no flavor, and some frankly awful food combinations. (I suspect the entire thing was AI-generated, but don't quote me.) You'll be miserable and hungry within a day. Please don't do that to yourself. Not even for "content."

  5. The thing that I hate about eating, and especially snacking, is the EFFORT that it takes. Like you need to EAT, to have the energy, to get dressed and go to the grocery store to get food to EAT. It never ends. So, in these cases, I would just eat the pumpkin seeds. I would just eat the spoonful or peanut butter or guacamole. I would just eat the toast. Putting it together takes too much effort, and time, that I could be using just EATING the individual ingredients.

  6. My work sells avocado toast with sunflower seeds on it but I seen pumpkin seeds on it before. Edit: I use to have peanut butter flour tortillas for a snack/lunch as a kid. Tortillas are cheap where I grew up and my folks were poor.

  7. I ordered that Beyond Body book and digital download and in less than a day I got the link. They offer you so many things prior to the purchase like early delivery of the link (unnecessary since they send it quickly), a workout part added (yep not included in the book), and other such options. It was a few weeks and no physical copy. I emailed and they said they could send it again. I don’t think they ever did in the first place since I never got tracking like they said they would send. So I just asked for a refund and they give me a partial one for no physical book. It looks very nice and big I would have liked it. But the advice is very basic and you can find it anywhere for free.

  9. You crack me up! Yes, you need to fry the corn tortilla for a little bit, at least. I'm gluten-free (not by choice). I eat these sort of snacks, although I eat kidney beans with poppyseed dressing. I eat canned veggies w/ butter (heated). I eat g/f grilled cheese & flavored oatmeal. I also eat canned fruit in cottage cheese. 😹

  10. Am I the only one who actually would enjoy that tortilla breakfast? I actually do eat that exact thing as a snack frequently (when I can stomach peanut butter, because sometimes my autism just goes 'I cannot with this texture'), except that since I rarely have berries in the house, I use apple jelly and I actually really love it. I will admit, it does taste a million miles better with flour tortillas, because the texture and flavor are so much better with the peanut butter.

    As a sidenote, is there any plan to get the LWF hats back at all as merch? I'd love to get a new one because I adore the design, and I think mine has been misplaced somewhere.

  11. The press on lashes are super good! I can’t speak for these bc I haven’t tried them but I hate strip lashes and I suck at them! BUT the Kiss Impress lashes are soo good and soooo easy to do!

As somebody who has Celiacs disease and Hashimoto’s, and has been eating gluten free since I was fifteen (35 now), those are absolutely NOT normal gluten free snacks, and I’m kinda offended by those offerings. I’d just slice an avocado up and fry an egg to go with it. Hot damn that book is a mess!!

As someone who’s been around a while, studied and practiced nutrition and seen many many many diet fads over the years, absolutely NO to that book, I don’t even need to see it to know it’s trash and you should just toss it. Please do not let it believe that this is what “healthy people” eat. It’s an ED in disguise. Please take care of yourself with the love and food you deserve!

  14. What I would say a better version of those lashes are the Impress Lashes by Kiss – same concept but the lashes has glue on them already so even easier in my opinion.

  15. I have to use strip lashes. I have gotten extensions done a few times and that glue in your eye is the worst! I have woken up with my eyes glued shut and also had glue in my eye for like a week after they were removed. They are horrible!
