The state police will be in all intents and purposes as well equipped as the Federation police; because the terrorist are everywhere and they carry sophisticated weapons. The idea that the state police will carry sticks and no guns is outdated and of no moment! Yes what is needed is to send delegates to some of the countries to understudy the operation of the state and municipal ( local government) there. They among other things study the under pinnings of the synergy of seamless , cordial and cooperative activities of both Federal and State police departments on one hand and interstate and neighborhood states police operations! With that well done, and meaningfully implemented, the insecurity in the country will be eradicated!
State police is decades long overdue! It’s none implementations are a major factor behind the onslaughts of banditry and terrorism ravaging the nation currently! And l dare say that unless government acts expeditiously to put state policing in place, anything else anyone does without consideration of state police is a mere waste of time . The government should recognise that our current capabilities do not meet our food production needs. Despite the ban on certain food items, these foods continue to be imported, highlighting the ineffectiveness of such measures.
Firstly, the government should not be directly involved in owning farmland or producing food. For instance, rice mills in Lagos State and Adamawa State, though government-owned, are underutilised. This represents a wasteful expenditure, which the government cannot afford. If these mills were under private ownership, the government could hold them accountable for their investments.
To address the rising prices, the government must flood the market with food supplies to drive prices down. This could involve seeking collaborations with other countries to import more food. Investing in food sufficiency is crucial, rather than relying on food aid from other nations.
Highlights:
The government's role in direct food production should be minimal. Instead, they should foster an environment conducive to agricultural development.
Opening the borders to food imports can counteract artificially created scarcity and help stabilize prices.
It's important to question whether any state or federal government sources their food locally, to understand the full impact of these policies.

Security is supposed to be built bottom-up, it Nigeria it is built top-down. Local government police is the most important. We need police at all tiers, local, state and federal. NYPD the best police in the world is a local government police, or New York City police. New York state has troopers and the federal government have FBI. Most New Yorkers are not aware there is state troopers, all they know is NYPD. North dont want state police, because of the civil war. They believe state governors will use it to secede especially Igbos.
