  1. This issue is not a tribal issue, it's common sense issue. How can you replace beach front with concrete? Like who does that. Landmark is one of the more accessible beaches that benefits lagosians and its visitors. Are they saying that they cannot reroute that segment of road? Why the haste. They wont disclose the route, the bidding process, the permits. Killing jobs to create jobs?

  2. anyone angry abt the work n want beach can ask pitobi n landmark to go Abia state n get land there….this lagos n its Tinubu country

  3. IF THE LANDMARK BELONG TO APC MEMBERS,RUFAI AND REUBEN ABATI WILL INSIST THAT LAW MUST BE OBEY ,IS LAND BELONG TO LANDMARK OR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, OBIDIENT ALWAYS WANT THIS GOVERNMENT TO GO DOWN, GO AND SAVE LANDMARK NOW

  4. Government right of way or not is not the point, the point is why destroy a beach when you can have the road and still have a beach there? Why destroy investment that employes people, pay taxes in millions when it can be avoided? Why did they avoid private, dilapidated bungalows further down the coastline but insist on destroying a thriving business?

  5. The real tragedy is when the grand masterminders of envy and wickednesss use the people from the same stock as their targets to perpetrate their wickedness…Fetus Okoye and Deviil Umahi. Shame on you both!

  6. All enemies of progress, wether you people like it or not, this project has started and it must finish. A project meant to create indirect and direct jobs in tens of thousands, gross in 600 trillion naira in 15 yeara and some idiots are out here condeming it because its not going in their selfish interest and out of their hate and envy for asiwaju and out of their ill wishes to see Nigeria fail and especially fail under asiwaju. The good news is that the project has started and there is no going back.

  7. They left the normal proposed plan and chose another lane. All of a sudden, people are suffering, and thieves will increase 😂dumb people, the smallest state out of the 36 states 😅

  8. ARROGANT IGNORANCE

Under the Constitution (and the Land Use Act incorporated therein), land is NOT owned by the federal or state governments but rather are merely “vested” in the federal or state governments “in trust” for the benefit and USE of the Nigerian people.

In a nation with probably over 50% unemployment, let’s destroy scores of small businesses providing thousands of direct and indirect jobs and supporting thousands more livelihoods, when there was an EASY WIN-WIN of reverting to the original alignment.

Anyway, Nigeria didn’t become the WORLD CAPITAL OF EXTREME POVERTY by making smart choices.
