Rent was really raised high because many people refused to pay rent during the pandemic. Everyone else had to pay for this when renting because we had to come up with 3 or 4 months of rent up front before we could get into an apt. Now thousands upon thousands of women are about the be evicted and many apt. Owners will not accept section 8 because these people tear up the property.
One company gave their employees a very nice increase in pay, then layed off half of their workforce. This means that the remaining people will have to work twice as hard because half of the workforce is gone. The ones layed off will really be complaing about the cost of living.
I can't afford anything, that's why I'm still living in a vehicle 😊

I'm old enough to remember when politicians used to talk about cola the cost of living adjustment. Young people now are just finding out about the phrase. It's all because of that voodoo economics that Reagan brought in. They want us to think they're going to do the trickle-down effect when they trying to say they really pissing on us.
