  1. Too freaking rude, never say this sentence. Only uneducated and vulgar beings will use it. That's a miserable thing, many foreigners hanging out with Chinese can only know random people as they cannot have a large people library to choose, which means, they will mostly get to know, the mass, which means, the uneducated majority.

  2. Everyone: Her Mandarin pronunciation was really good.
    Everyone: She's gorgeous and talented.
Me: Both true, but why is she sitting in the corner of a dungeon?

  3. I'm a Taiwanese, and that's the idiom to express that one did a redundant move which won't affect or change what one was going to do

  4. The phrase is not just useful, but could be very well used to make a point and show your attitude that someone did something unnecessary, too far too complicated, and even awkwardly. A good example of situation to say it, your boyfriend complains about his colleagues request to do something at work that is not needed to and wasted.

  5. Pretty good Mandarin! I just saw "I Care A Lot", Pike speaks in American accent in the movie. She has good ears and can pick up the right tones for different languages.

  6. Her pronunciation is absolutely spot-on!! And she sounds like she learned the phrase from a Taiwanese instead of Chinese accent. Brilliant.
