In July 2021, riots and looting in South Africa’s Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal provinces left more than 300 dead, and extensive damage. Great piece. I am inspired by everyone in this clip, especially Nawaal who has a great outlook on life, meaningful work, and personal growth. I also think that the trash pickup is a great initiative to have come out of covid. I hope that the problem with plastic in streets, as well as the oceans, continues to spread awareness and motivate change in these communities.
