Relations with Venezuela broke down in 2019? And WHO was still President then? But it's a crime issue making it unsafe, not that Americans aren't welcome as you imply. The Passport issue is not unique to Venezuela. Considering the political instability in the Middle East, why would anyone want to go there unless you are looking for trouble. Libya has always been a volatile atmosphere. Syria is also dangerous. Whoever heard of Turkmenistan? Most people have no interest in visiting that country anyway. There is already too much controversy over Saudi Arabia. I can't imagine anyone with common sense wanting to visit any of these country when their political history is already known to be counter to our national relations. And visiting Korea already has brings on suspicions. If you are going to suggest Korea, then mention Russia. It's not that they are not welcoming Americans since they've already invaded our government with their own agents in the GOP. But anyone going there would be under scrutiny.
