  1. Have you ever postulated as a MISS GAMBIA 🇬🇲?.
    I think you should. 🤔
I've been thinking of a tour in Africa this summer, you just got me.
    Love from Cameroon 🇨🇲 ❤.
    It's Gambia in August. 💪

  2. I'll be in The Gambia in 2 days! Visiting Brikama, Serekunda, Kololi and Tanji within the next 1,5 month. Been to Senegambia Hotel about half a year ago! Astonishing!

  3. As an almost-resident I would pick these from your list: the big boat trip from Denton Bridge (take a coolbox with champagne with you), the long walks (endless quiet beach, creek in Sanyang), visit villages like Tanji or Kartong (find out how life works there). But I would rather go to the reptile farm in Kartong than to Kachikally (the crocks are probably sedated). I have always be tempted by the quad trips, but I fear that my fun would spoil the serenity of nature. I always wondered why tourists go birdwatching and visit monkey parks… in any garden or wood there are the most wonderful birds (I have calao’s knocking on my window!) and monkeys (I have none… my dog dislikes them). Rent a villa with a pool, like in Sanyang or Tujereng… far from the bustle. Hotels take away some of the charm (unless you’d go to super hotels with enormous gardens and few customers like Leo’s).

  4. I watched a bunch of Gambia videos today for my upcoming trip (REALLY excited to go!!!) and yours is way above the rest!! Going to watch your other videos for sure!! Thank you SOOO much for making this effort and sharing so many great tips!!

  5. I’m half Gambian (and Kenyan) but I was born and raised in Norway. I’m traveling to the Gambia in November to visit family. But I want to discover and know my home country more, thank you for this video!
