Nsima and Relish – National Dish of Malawi (Day 36)

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Malawi and have tried this first hand. It’s just as delicious as I’ve had over there!

  1. I'm here for the African dishes. I am really interested in seeing how you go about making them.
In south Africa, we can the maize meal porridge 'Pap'.. A lot of south Africans prefer it a bit more stiff..
Im from west Africa. So I can't wait to get those videos😃

  2. Poland has to be pierogi, ruskie pierogi are the best. Cheese, potato and fried onion in a boiled dumpling served with soured cream and more fried onions on top 🤤🤤🤤 the main thing I miss since going vegan 😫 I am trying to veganise them tomorrow, I'll be using vegan cream cheese instead of the twaróg ( quark cheese ). I'll see how it goes. Love the idea of this though ❤

  3. In South Africa we’d call that pap(don’t know how to spell the pronunciation…uhm in think you’d pronounce it as “paap”

That’s what we call the maize when cooked that way”
