The Most Robbed Players in Modern Survivor History

The term “robbed” is used to describe a person in Survivor that was going to do extremely well but through a twist or uh…poor decision they were taken out far too soon. For this video I’ll just be covering pre-merge boots as I feel they’re the easiest to identify who should have gone far but hey 150 likes and I’ll do the most robbed…

  1. These types of videos are why I really want a Survivor season about pre merge boots that had a chance to go far, but for some reason, got knocked out before they could really show what they could have done.

  2. Nice video, but most of these people weren't robbed imo.

Sabiyah made a massive mistake in turning against her #1, and Kaleb and Emily rightfully got her out. Even without the vote-losing twist, it would've at least been a tie, but they probably could've convince Sean to get her out

Brando got lucky getting the advantage, and didn't notice it in time. Plus he would've gotten voted out regardless. His social game wasn't good enough to get Emily on his side.

Matthew only has himself to blame for climbing the rock.

  3. Julie should be in the next video. Dee would've, and SHOULD'VE gotten out there, if it wasn't for some incompotency from Katurah. She then went on to win the season. (To be fair, Jake is still partly to blame for that play but Dee still should've gotten 2 votes.)

  4. I completely disagree with Matthew being robbed, his entire demise was caused by his own stupidity, he climbed up the rock, he fell, he chose to ignore doctor orders to rest his arm, he quit. One thing i find bizarre is how so many people think he was a good player, he made a fake idol to trick Jaime to gain her allegiance (Yeah cuz JAIME was hard to make loyal) but even if that was a smart move, he blew it up the second he exposed Jaimes "idol" to Carson, who immediately told everyone else in the game about it when they merged. If Matthew was still in the game, I see either OG Ratu flipping on Matthew or Jaime flipping on Ratu, either way, it'd be a disaster for Matthew.

  5. Feel like it's a stretch to say Matthew got robbed… I guess he probably would've won the season if production put a "do not climb this" sign on all rock faces. They should've foreseen the fact they casted an idiot

  6. It seems a lot easier to be robbed in modern Survivor, with advantages flying around 24/7, there's very few ways to play around production just deciding they want to screw with the game for a bit of banter…

  7. Brando’s circumstances actually managed to be worse odds than portrayed because of another key event of that pre-merge

Kaleb giving Drew the “goodwill” advantage which then allowed Drew to give the advantage to Austin who otherwise would have had to burn his idol to cast a vote that night.

Had Lulu voted out Emily over Brandon, they likely lose reward and Reba might not had gotten the advantage, Had Lulu not won the reward challenge then Brando might have stayed, Had Kaleb not gone to raid Reba, Brando likely stays in the game, had he not been swapped with ride or die allies Drew and Austin he might have stayed.

Had Brando been swapped with any other Reba member that wasn’t Drew then Austin would have had to weigh up his idol vs losing a Reba.

  8. Love the video! Idk how much I’d call Sabiyah robbed. Yes she was voted out due to Idol shenanigans. But speaking for myself, it’s hard for me to see a world where I sacrifice my vote with only 4 people voting! That’s a CRAZY risk, even if I felt confident in the other 2 votes

  9. Yes, Matthew did get eliminated earlier than expected.

However, he took himself out. He literally scaled a rock face for zero reason and injured himself. I can’t really see “robbery” in that case, more stupidity.

  10. In Maddy’s exit interview, she explained that tribal went very differently than presented: Apparently Matthew got up and whispered something to Brandon who then asked Kane point blank if he needed to play his idol that night, Kane of course said no which was the main reason Brandon held some resentment against Kane in the following episode.

There was a lot of motivation to switch the vote and I really don’t think that Maddy timed the move well even without hindsight
