  1. I am eating veey healthy but damn whenever I try chia seeds I get so bloated and it also makes me go to the bathroom….like ….. almost diarrhea like . 😂

  2. Exactly. This is true by adding chia or flax seeds to junk food is useless. But to healthy foods, it works.😊 I like to just crunch on them by themselves in small amounts.

I add chia seeds to my Greek triple zero yogurt, I add it to my salads because I need something crunching in my salad, and tonight I’m thinking of having pancakes and eggs for dinner and I’m going to add chia seeds to the batter. I eat chia seeds solely for the fiber. I’m a diabetic but I watch what I eat 95% of the time (sometimes I want something sweet) I eat out 2x a month, but I’m trying to only do it 1x a month. My a1c went from a 10.6 to a 6.4 after my daughter moved out because we were eating out 25 days out of the month.

  4. Thanks doc. I think this video is a good reminder that a good diet are more important than chia seeds. Chia seeds is just a useful addition(might not even be needed) to the diet but doesn't change or improve a bad diet. Likewise i have seen a friend who is talking medication to lower his cholesterol but then he still continue with bad diet, e.g no vege, eating a lot of oily and bad food and not exercising.

  5. A medical doctor myself who is combatting peoples cardiovascular disease, your video again reminded me of the kind of thinking probably a lot of people entertain when dealing with health problems.

  6. Well sprinkling anything healthier into an un healthy food doesn’t make unhealthy food healthier. But getting chia seeds into your system can do a good thing to body. So I guess even if you eat it with unhealthy food you would still get the benefits that you get from chia seeds. But to be cautious chia seeds should not be taken until it is risen well. To avoide chia seeds being stuck before in gets to stomach. It can cause death because seed can get really big when risen and a spoon of chia seeds suddenly get risen inside your mouth can make it block the breathing.
    I had chia seeds with oats and milk for a week. I let instant oats chia seed soak in fresh milk for an hour then consume it. You know what happened, I am not tired anymore. I can do lots of work and body acts like it doesn’t feel tired at all. I didn’t menstrual cramps I didn’t get pains in legs and hands which normally used to be how I know I am getting closer. So in my experience I did try this two months. For both months only for one week I consumed this. Results were great.

    I am diabetic and I am under medication but after having chia seeds ( in water) I found blood sugar and blood pressure raised.

    Why this is so.

  8. Can I ask if chi seeds is good eaten at breakfast – chia and oats soaked overnight with blended with fresh fruit, yougurt milk and honey…more famously known as overnight chia and ots puding with some fresh fruits and nuts added in the morning
