NEW 2025 Tesla Model 3 PERFORMANCE Review: Supercar Slayer | 4K
Rory goes for a drive in the new Tesla Model 3 Performance, which some people have been referring to as the Model 3 Plaid. It has more power, more torque, more performance, a new motor, new seats, and has been comprehensively overhauled to help it rival everything in its class… and even a few unlikely suspects.
Drive brand new for less than…

Ughhh! Staggered rims sizes? We already get less tire life because of the battery weight and now M3P can't have tire rotations? I was considering stepping up from my 2022 M3LR for that extra power but I'll just keep it and get the speed boost.
I wish the wheels were directional
The Tesla model 3 is light weight.
The merc amg is heavier and only 30kg heavier then the m3. That’s incredibly impressive.
Grrrrrrreat.. so my new shiny new model 3 is going to have premium wheels any douchenozzle can just start ripping apart pieces out of. Thanks Elon!
would be nice to see you drive this car with FSD to see how its llike
It looks nice but still very similar to the current model. Tesla needs to step it up since other brands like BMW, Audi, etc are coming with such nice designs and customization. Also, those wheels are just ugly.
2025 really? 🤔 You must be Elon's long lost son. SMH 🤦🏾♂️
Honestly…. Who cares? Wanna impress us? Make it go 500 miles on a charge with the a/c on and not having to worry about using the stereo…charge it in 2 minutes.. build it at a price point we can actually afford. A person actually buying a 45k car because it goes 60 mph is amazing to me. “Fun” is enough. “Painful” sounds.. painful. Make it lighter so we don’t burn thru a set of 1500.00 tires in 20k miles…come on guys.
GREAT GREAT JOB ON THE REVIEWS MAN!!!
Tesla stock up 17% today..incredible
It’s an M3 killer for sure no M3 can touch it
Different front and rear rim size? (19-20"???) Im discussing them with my local Tesla community and most of them say this may be a mistake… Whats correct? Same rims size or not??
It isn't a 2025. Tesla does not do model years. If you buy the car in 2024, it is a 2024. They are constantly changed, and when the changes are implemented, the changes go into affect daily, not in the new "model year".
Gay car
The inside reminds me of a prison cell, you get nothing except for a tv and something to seat on
It’s the phantom braking stories that scare me about the Model 3
It still looks the same. Horsepower? Speed? You want speed? Then wake up America and build highspeed bullet trains which is also, (fully electric). I rather have shorter downtimes. How about longer range? Keep quick and the tickets that comes with it. Still has that ugly, hideous looking dashboard that looks like a 2by4 with a screen in the middle. Take that computer out and go put it back in the office where it belongs. With fueling (once a month) and takes me 3 minutes, a large full size luxury automobile which tesla dosent even make, 570 miles of range which supersedes any EV in America and paid off at 41K, I'll keep my jaguar XJL and leave well enough alone….
Put the radio on to something bangin'
3.9 and 4 seconds from its rivals is hardly close to 2.9. 😂. Next thing you’ll say is that the looks are similar to its rivals. 😮 it’s ok. I understand Tesla Haters
2:08 "Same front motor as Standard model 3" …but Standard M3 doesn't have a front motor. It's RWD!
At its price point, I'd get an old BMW M3
2025? Wrong
Plaid? Wrong
Bro plz
New 2025 Model 3 ?? 😂😅😂 The wait and availability is now, not next year.
The same awful interior…
Tesla best company in the world
I’m 41. I want this 2024 M3P to be my next and last car! It’s got the power and tech I’m looking for! Just gotta get Wifey to sign off on it!
I am a bit taken back by this, but also, lots of stuff doesnt add up:
Faster than previous model ?
they claim 460hk LG 79kWh for EU 🙁
510hk for the US version because of panasonic 82kWh for the new performance
-the old one is registered as 514hk (perhaps that is just the engines combined and not the real output performance of the car)
Longer range they claim ?
WLTP was 567km for the 2022 3P… the new one is 528km WLTP… is it Tesla that is chasing the dragon or is it me ???
It sucks that we in the EU get the Performance version on a "limp mode" because of the LG battery with lower peakpower output (-50hk) – and even shorther range (-3kWh)
so is it because of the massive rear tires that the WLTP has gone down the drain compared to the previous performance model or what, or is it a combo of the 79kWh battery and bigger wheels width ?
The seats are a welcome update, the overall exterior design is very tastefull!
Missing stalks is a turn off, but probably a habit (i have test-driven the Highland 3LR for 2 hours)
So the perfect build for me would have been:
82kWh Panasonic for ALL performance
A HUD display of some kind (when it is a speed demon!)
wishfull thinking… stalks for gear and turn signals
currently owning a ModelS 85D 2015 and Model3 LR Boost 2021.. was hoping to replace the old Model S.. but now it is not a clear choice…
When will someone do a range-test and more interestingly a 100-200km/h test ? we dont care if it is 3.4 sek 0-100 or 3.1, but highway/freeway speeds are what needs extra umph from the old model3…
8:20 you can do all that in track mode
11:20 The biggest thing missing is that it's too quiet, efficient (so little noise from drivetrain) and sound-deadening
ROFL
disappear. TESLA
Amazing that this spoilt auto journalist can get through such a review without comparing price/performance with his beloved Taycan. There are better reviews that emphasise not just the bang for your buck but also the dynamics. It appears Tesla have learnt some new tricks from their track testing and S Plaid work. Well done them.
This from the channel famous for giving Tesla vehicles meh reviews. Complete fluff piece from the standpoint of substantive review. Wrong on horsepower, wrong on front 19 inch wheels, the stagger is between front and rear tire and wheel width not rim diameter, but long on enthusiasm so you want to cut them some slack. But then again wrong on Range numbers and wrong on charging times. That's a lot to get wrong in a short space of time.
But then there are the utterly moronic comments about how the car really needs less tire to be more fun. Or can they just at least get the reviewer educated about basic stats? He doesn't seem to notice that 32% extra horsepower from the rear motor means that the car can't possibly have 510 horsepower. Sophomoric at best, moronic at worst.
Just stop with the supercar comparisons, just stop. Straight line junkies rejoice but fast on anything except a drag strip, no.
