I’m a financial advisor in Manhattan. I often see couples who are BOTH high earners. As a matter of fact, it’s quite rare to see stay at home spouses. High earners typically want high earners, and that’s fine.

Men will always be men. You can’t change that fact. If a woman thinks that she is better then a regular man, you only have couple of years to be desirable and when you reach 30 plus, you have very limited choices of getting your man of choice. It doesn’t matter if you earning 6 figures. Man have their own choices of the type of woman that they want to get married to as a wife. In a social environment, there are women that want to be housewives and there those of her type that have very high expectations in a relationship.
