  1. Horrible handoffs comes down to coaching. The relay is unlike any other track even in that you have to get so many reps for each hand off. The 4×400 is much slower so the margin for error is much greater. In the 4×100 every runner's speed needs to be gauged with the take off speed of the next runner. Many reps and adjustments must be made for each leg. All of the fastest times in history have come down to clean exchanges. It's not even the 4 fastest runners who win the event. Imagine if they had actually gotten reps in and cleaned the hand offs up only a little. That's most likely 40.6x for a new world record in this race. If they clean up a lot that could have even been 40.4x or 40.3x

  2. For me seeing richardson doing her thing out there proving all the haters wrong was was absolute gold. Simce day 1 i supported her and will continue to do so. I see more gold in the future
