So happy to see how many of you have been waiting for this video, I'm truly glad I can share these recipes with you! If you want to include some meat in this recipe, take 1/2 kg or 1 lb of lamb or veal chops and season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper. Lay them in the pot on top of the onions/potatoes and you will be in for a delicious meal!

Unfortunately, I can't eat tomatoes. It seems it is a source of moisture and flavor. Any suggestions for making this without tomatoes?

Can’t believe your leaves cook in 40 min. Mine was still tender after 2.5 hour! I used fresh leaves , I even softened them a min in microwave!
Yummy food👍
6:43 My family from Aleppo do this with potato instead
I wonder how well freshly picked leaves would taste and cook up.
Got a grapevine myself this year, so I could try it! Especially handy because turkish stores etc all are i think almost non existent 😅, could also brine them myself too!

I have this wild grape vine that I’ve been trying to kill for years. It’s growing on the side of my house. It came back strong this year like every year full of leaves. Well I learned today May 3, 2023 that the leaves are edible and good. That’s crazy
