Al Pacino is a LEGEND and he’s still here so imo he gets to do whatever he wants 😂 loved Oppenheimer so much, the first film i went to go see over 5 times in the theaters ❤
O scars.
Same. It's so complieca43s beyon belief it woo took a good 🎉.
"What happened. Wow." – Al Pacino.
I mean the oscars could have given this guy a little more of a setup.
OppenOscars
Oppenheimer proved that Christopher Nolan cemented his Hollywood legacy.
Oppenheimer is a reminder that summer blockbusters can win best picture.
Oppenheimer bagged an unbelievable seven awards altogether, resulting in a tie for the most Oscars with Universal Studios' Schindler's List in 1994.
Oppenheimer (2023)
The highest-grossing best picture winner since the Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King; the biggest budget for a best picture winner since Gladiator; Robert Downey Jr's first Oscar, 31 years after his first nomination; the first best director Oscar win of Christopher Nolan's 26 year career; the most awards Universal has won since Schindler's List; the first best picture winner released in July since Forrest Gump.
Oppenheimer detonates a moral quandary: rare in the days when superheroes have all the answers. Christopher Nolan's blinding look at this flashpoint in American history aches with the consequences of achievement and explodes beyond the screen to register a new standard in film biographies. At its core stands Cillian Murphy, who embodies an enigma with rich complexity, while orbited by powerhouse performances from a peerless all-star cast.
Oppenheimer became the highest-grossing best picture winner since the Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King.
Oppenheimer marks another engrossing achievement from Christopher Nolan that benefits from Cillian Murphy's tour-de-force performance and stunning visuals.
Many critics regarded Oppenheimer as one of the best films of 2023 with praise towards Christopher Nolan's direction and script, the performances, the score, the visuals, the cinematography, the sound design and the intensity.
Did anyone else think “Oppenheimer” was disappointing…?
honestly kinda love how jumbled the announcement and crowd reaction was
Oppenheimer was great; but that was moment to appreciate all other great movies too; and acknowledge their work; and this dude destroyed their moments.

– Killers of the Flower Moon
– May December
– Oppenheimer
– Past Lives
– Poor Things

Winner: Oppenheimer
The card really says BEST ACTRESS Emma Stone in POOR THINGS.
If a human wrote an AI generated award presentation.
The Academy decided that the nominees would be shown during the commercial breaks and they told Al to go out there, open the envelop and announce the winner. Al did what he was supposed to do. If anyone is disappointed about this, then blame the Academy, not the guy who did what he was asked to do. Also, Oppenheimer deserved to win Best Picture. Great film on its own and it’s one of the best films of the century.
I love him. But yeah don’t fucking have him ever present an award at the Oscar’s again. Ever. All respect.
Too bad these comments are about Pacino. Oppenheimer deserved that Best Picture win.
