Nice recipe. You should try onion salt it's rumoured to be one of the ingredients and does give that KFC taste!
Hey Phrankleen just a quick tip. Try double battering the chicken first before you fry for that extra crispy taste, and also ( I know it's not healthy, but considering you don't do it often) try frying the chicken in vegetable shortening instead its adds another yummy dimension of flavor.
