Be careful, the Bible says that Jesus represents the fullness of God’s divine revelation and so there will be no more prophets giving public revelation after him. There may be seers or people God has given private revelation, but there will be no more public revelation or a prophet like Moses. In fact, in Deuteronomy 18:15, Moses says, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brethren—him you shall heed.”
This prophet would be the Messiah.
In Acts 3:18, St. Peter quotes this verse and applies it to Jesus. He says, “What God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.” The opening verses of the letter to the Hebrews also say, “In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.”
Be careful for false prophets, a country could need guidance, but the Word/Logos is already full and perfect without the need for extra explanation.
