  1. Good Video! You packed lot of information about Madagascar inside a surfing video, which I really like.
Just one remark: the "famadihadiana" which the locals celebrate and try to comminicate with their ancestors is a non-Christian kind of evil tradition. While celebrating it, the people get drunk and put the bones of the dead out of the geave, carrying them around and play loud music. Many families have debts they cannot pay back because they are forced to celebrate it – otherwise it puts shame on the family.
But despite of that I really like the malagasy culture and value it.

  3. Love surfing Madagascar. Surfed it 2018 and gonna go next year. Make sure to take lots of surf wax and leave for the locals. Please be safe. Saw so many murders on the last trip in broad daylight. You just walk around the body. It’s always good to leave a board but resources to fix epoxy boards are difficult. The perfect scenario would be to take a bunch of catch surfboards, they’re easy to fix and can take a beating. Aloha all

  4. i think the writers and narrator could have used a few more cliches and worn out tropes, combine that with the presenters upper class British accent and the whole thing just reeked of a kind of colonialism and patronisation. The idea is really good but a company like the wsl should be able to put out something a bit better. It seems a lot of their content is really cliched 🙁 sorry
