Kid, you have no idea about calisthenics I see
That’s the look that everyone wants.
I seriously don’t know why this man keeps popping up on my feed. Don’t like his video.
When you get to the point that you can do sets of one-arm pull-ups, you can comment on the veracity of body weight training.
If you start using rings that will take your game up and add on a weight vest. I think you are good.
Broski what are you talking about
Brah this man loves himself g
But gymnast with bodybuilder biceps and shoulders have these muscle mass mostly from straight arm work like maltese iron cross, planche with supinated grip. You just have to use extreme levers to stimulate the muscles. They dont care what you do..
Or add more repetion
Sure buddy my brother did 15 years in jail all he did was body weight exercises he’s huge asf bigger than any average Joe at the gym and he never bench press at all
Bro is just subjective😮
False!
This is just pure bs
Lies lies lies
I find that a weighted vest is a good medium between Calisthenics and weightlifting and gives you enough of a challenge. For someone like me who has broken my wrist in the past, it's difficult to do handstand pushups without pain.
Or make it more challenging because yeah adding weight to calisthetincs makes you not gain more muscle its just when it gets easier you have to make it harder and of course we all know intake a good ammount of protein because all forms of workouts can work to tear and rebuild muscle
How them gymnastics boys super ripped then? They don’t do weights.
I’ve been doing calisthenics for 2 years in total on and off, and I don’t look like the build shown in the vid I am more defined than that, but I ain’t huge tho, but that’s simply because I don’t eat like a bodybuilder, and I’m on/off when it comes to my eating.
This is cap 🧢 I got an 8pack with only body weight excercise
Not true!!😂😂😂
Then why are olympic gymnasts so shredded? All they do is bodyweight exercises they don’t touch weights
Brodie yapping
What if you fat doing calisthenics?
No it’s really not a limit to callestinics more volume and more reps
Your wrong on everything you said but go off n sell the sheep your course
Really I got bigger when I was in jail with no dumbbells at all. YOURE WRONG
Not true. Tell that to those guys incarcerated. My uncle is constantly locked up in the California penal system, unfortunately and they took away the weight so all they have was calisthenics and when he gets out and he’s swoll as hell. He’s 70yrs old now. When he was 46 he looked like you homie all from pushups and pull ups
You don't need muscle for strength, you just need consistency and disciplinarian
This false. Even if you do weights, the only way to get bigger is by being in a caloric surplus. If you in a caloric surplus and do calisthenics you will get jacked like guys in prison
It depends on how you do it. For well over 80% of people, for example, it is virtually impossible to get to being able to do, say, 5 full supersets of 15 reps of pull-ups and dips with just 30 seconds in between.
Austin still giving bad advice. Come on man!
don't say can't! it does take longer then weight but it is still very possible many people have done it
Add reps
Who decides limits
Yea sure 4 years in prison eating ramen and pull-ups , dips burpees air squats , jump squats jump burpees shiiiiiat ripped and so was the prisoners in there
Gymnasts disagree……
I did only bodyweight workouts for 3 years and got pretty fit for a 40 year old (profile pic). Im 6'1" and stayed around 162lbs but i couldn't gain any more muscle size. I didnt start looking "jacked" till i added some body fat and started lifting weight. The last 4 years ive gone up from about 8% body fat to maybe 18% body fat and im now 192lbs and definitely look more jacked.
