  1. well by now Matt should have known that sprints are not good fit for him indeed other than 4X400 hes not gonna be even ammong the Usa team qulalificants and for me its obvious he is ignoring his bets bet long jump taht its he can easiliy jump around 8m- 30-8m -40 and get medal on any Championship and likely even win especially indoor with those numbers

  2. Why does this guy MATTHEW BOLING get so much screen time? So many video recommendations of the guy. He's barely cracked 10 seconds in 100m.

  3. Do you think they would ever add this distance to Olympic competition?
I guess it would be too complicated to schedule between the 100 and 200 and 400 heats they have enough to do.

  4. Boling should keep his focus on the 100m/200m using the 300/400m as speed endurance only……..Why his coaches continue to steer him away from his best events is mind boggling.

  5. I ran a 31.2 300 Meters at Kansas State at a Juco meet and my coach said I can run a 30.1 300 Meters if I worked at it. I ran against Wallace Spearmons Father in Highschool he is very fast too!

  6. Some real morons appear here in the commentaries. If the 300m is meaningless as is said…why would the world's greatest 400m runner even bother contesting it when it's infrequently available as Gardiner has taken the opportunity several years in a row here? Answer: Because it's an incredibly useful marker distance for different reasons as an oval sprint.

  7. You're on proper progression schedule Matthew as you learned from running the greatest pure 400m runner in the world in Gardner. The evolution/ revolution that'll have to take place with you will be in your mind as you have,I believe, the talent to make the podium in the Paris finals. You have to have the intent of TAKING IT FROM EVERYONE as yours for NO ONE IN THE WORLD EVER WANTS YOU TO POSSESS IT.

  8. Props to Gardiner for a great performance. The 300 is an oddball race at best, why they even run it is a quandary. The 100, 200, 400, 800 are all the respected distances. Also the outside lane is the most favorable. Had he won from another lane would have been more impressive.

  9. I've been waiting and looking forward to him being in top form some Olympics. Hope he doesn't have any setbacks because the 400m needs his presence there!
