I believe there is an underplay on Canada and Overkill of US for Indian’s its suits the guest model of offering, he has to be politically correct and diplomatically on point to not face issues…the economic situation of canada is terrible in G7 and OECD stats will show, also unemployment is all time high. Covid really showed its ugly face a passive country depending 30% on realestate or its business of its GDP its an ageing population. Opened doors on temp worker permits, brought in students for unrated diploma’s to make billions actually 100Bn in last 5 years. the guest has to bring immigrants in so fundamentally its a similar business of selling an immigrant a dream to a great Canadian life – JUST about me i am a startup founder and raised 300k CAD and waited 4 years for PR which i finally got, i did not opt for a work permit as to build a startup with a runway during covid and to spend 3L per month to survive in Toronto or in Vancouver for a startup founder is impossible there are so many stuck in start up visa with workpermits who have not got their PR for years and are still struggling there with such crazy expenses and wont be able to even work.

Dev might himself be successful, but his job (shoving hundreds of unqualified Indians into a foreign country) is going to make opinions of Indians much much worse. Canadians and Americans are loudly and very openly rejecting new South Asian migrants, they don't have issues with Chinese though, ask yourself why.

Bro this episode really hit home. Im a student abroad right now and everything u talked about – the struggles, sacrifices and blue-collar jobs – is my daily life. No one tells you how lonely and tiring it gets balancing work and studies while missing ur family back home. When u talked about parents silently sacrificing so much for us, I legit teared up. Its so real man. Sometimes I feel like giving up but this reminded me that im not alone and all this struggle has a purpose. Thankyou for this, really needed it today.
