  1. Not a bad list overall, though I would cut out the brown rice. Yes, it’s better than white rice, but any grains spike blood glucose. I suggest adding in fatty fish and meat so diabetics can feel full without unnecessary blood glucose spikes. A good list though for those reluctant to eat fat and protein. Helpful video!

  4. Thanks for this i diabetic 2. My mind doesn't accept yo eat oranges,/pears anc cherry at all and the fruits mentioned to eat by diabetic patients is alright but in Limited .

  6. 30 years with diabetes, 77 years old, I eat and drink every fruit, bread, and rice, ice cream etc ….even sometimes a little bit of sugar cane. Almond chocolate is my favorite snake. My blood sugar level in the morning normally, 3 to 4 which is extremely dangerous but I drink soft drink to manage it but in the evening the reading is about 13 after dinner which is also no good. But what can I say this is the routine now. On the other hand when I am working, all day my sugar level stays between 5 to 6. I take 17 units insulin and 2 metformin every day , but sometimes I take only 10 units of insulin if level goes down. Sometimes I think I should retire now and stop working but . Last week I built a beautiful shed in the back yard 13×16 installed 2 staircases, did all plumbing work , installed pot lights , laid laminate floors and painted the house as well , looking for another project now. Or should I retire????
