  1. Watermelon should be the best choice for diabetics because it contains water and it keeps you hydrated. I do not understand why they say watermelon is a bad fruit. That is a total lie.

  2. It depends..if you dont work out and dont burn the calories then yes watch the fruits you eat but if you work out regularly i think its ok. I eat bananas and apples everyday but i also ride my bike 10 miles and do 20 k steps a day.

  3. How do I Control my Diabetes? Insulin, Janumet, Jardance, diet & exercise 💪, I've had it Over 16yrs now, I'm pretty Sure it'll be the Death of me Someday??🤔😈

  4. This morning before breakfast my blood sugar(B.S.) was 122 . So I had a bowl of Cheerios with about 1.5 cups of previously frozen mixed berries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries, plus low-fat milk. An hour and half later my B.S was 136 but 30 minutes late it was only 106. To me that’s amazing because according to the package the berries alone contained 15 grams of sugar. It shows that where the sugar comes from can make a huge difference.
Amazing I just tested again 2.5 hours later and my B.S is only 96!

  5. Bruuuuuuuuuh everything that was on the bad list I mostly eat being a type 1 diabetic🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️like man the struggle is so real FML lol!

  6. Guys just totally disregard this poorly researched video any natural Fruit dont cause harm the type of Sugar they have is the good sugar ,just have one or moderation is always key Dates a super food that should always be eaten !!!!!

  7. This is great information. I was recently diagnosed with "prediabetes" via A1c of 6. My understanding is that this can be reversed with change of diet and more exercise. With that said, I make a daily smoothie with 5 strawberries and about 10 blueberries. My smoothie includes sugar free Almond milk, a protein powder that has around 2gs of sugar, a ground whole oat powder contains no sugar, and a cup of NO sugar yogurt. If you have any thoughts on this or have a similar or better recipe, please let me know.

  8. The goal for T1D is to increase insulin sensitivity. Reduce fats and proteins and stick to a plant based whole food diet for majority of the time and give yourself leniency as you like for specific events, heck even once a week eat as you like. Physical activity 4-6 days a week significantly helps increasing insulin sensitivity.

I was shocked when I noticed I was having more fruit since I can remember being diabetic and noticing my BSL being stable, yet having only a few units of novorapid I was close to having hypos. This diet can increase your sensitivity from 1 : 30 to 1 : 50 easily.

  9. Don’t get it wrong, then as a Typ 1 Diabetic you can eat all the fruits. How much you go to eat is important for the amount of Insulin. Be careful then Insulin is a Hormon that can steere your appetite and when you gain fat on then you will need more and more Insulin
