  1. It has been very irresponsible to allow companies to import foreign workers and exploit them, however as a result of such policy it has been clear that every somewhat competent person knew and expected it to happen. Such irresponsible behaviour increase un-employment for the citizens of the said country and reduces wages/living standards, which is exactly what it is designed to do.

  2. the damage that's been done would require us to either kick out 500k immigrants or close our doors to all immigration (except for those 18 and under in the most dire of situations) for the next 25 to 30 years. We should only be immigrating in those that actually need what we have to offer. The uneducated the jobless those with no homes or families or finances not those that already have plenty of cash and opportunity. id rather bring in 50k orphans and pay for that then have 400k new delivery drivers and foreign workers.

  3. I agree with Trudeau: no more "free" foreign workers. Let those foreigners go back home and help build their own countries; there is a saying: the bird can fly very long, but its head returns to the ground.

  4. As a Nigerian myself, I have to admit, we never get tired of being victims. We travel to foreign countries and expect free handouts. Meanwhile, no one even visits our countries, because its too risky and dangerous. Why do we always blame everyone for our own problems?

  5. All immigration needs to stop. All illegals need to go home, your work /student permits expired – need to go home, at least until our Country is stable again.

  6. A lot of negative comments.
The irony is that the educated students are the wrong focus to deport. They have something to offer. Instead Canada has allowed many unqualified immigrants giving them automatically PR status.
