kids being kids. I lost a friend at a lake as a kid. He jumped his bike into the lake got caught in the chain and didn't come up. You can't blame yourself but it's hard.

If there's anything I learned on the beach, it's to be careful with rip currents, ditches in the sand, which can cause soil erosion as occurred in the report, and also not to play, jump or swim, when there is a river breaking and flowing into the sea!
