I know of a friendship group that started in grade 8 and 20years later post High School they are still tight (and mind you we went to an all girls school). They come together to celebrate each others milestones,etc. and go on vacation once a year(or every 2nd year)so I think it truly depends on the individuals. Personally I'm not friends with anyone from my high School days.
