  1. I'm looking to offer a course of videos free to viewers through our nonprofit; the videos are already recorded. Would Thinkific be a good choice for building and hosting the course? Or, would you recommend some other platform?

  2. Melissa, thanks I got a link delivered to my email and I downloaded the resource. It's really a comprehensive one, God bless you. Can you also give your recommendation on the new tool in the market place – TrainerCentral from Zoho. Please review it. Your opinion matters.

  3. Which course platform has course migration if I decide after I’ve created a course, have students in it, and then decide I want to switch to a new platform but retain the course and the students? If a student has purchased a course from me I’d want them to have lifetime access to it after I’ve switched but I not have to maintain multiple course platforms simultaneously.

  4. No mention of Mighty Networks? Also, I started with Thinkific, and moved everything over to Mighty Networks. MN has an infinitely better community experience, and my students who experienced both Thinkific and MN found the MN course structure far easier to navigate.

I agree, there's no single "best" platform but I would urge you, if community is important for your online courses, be sure to check out MN before choosing Thinkific.

As far as Circle, I spoke to 2 YouTube Circle specialists, as well as Circle support staff, telling them the specific things I was looking for, and they all acknowledged, (1) MN had all the same features; and (2) for my community needs, MN would probably be better.

  5. Thank you for this video. Im wondering, what is the best platform for Australians? Unfotunately, Teachable pays the creator in US dollars, even though we charge our Australian students in AUS. This means we lose a lot of revenue when you consider exchange rates 😞

  6. This is really helpful! I'm trying to select a platform. What do you think about Thrive Apprentice, which is for WordPress and also has its own theme? I used it for a course I recently took and that's how I learned about it. It is highly customizable but they make it easy without coding skills. And it's much cheaper than Kajabi. I'm just not sure yet which one I'm going to use.

  7. Another question, if you don't mind Melissa, the output for student of a platform like thinkful – is it interactive , like the authoring tools of Ispring, Adobe captivate ,…etc ? i really appreciate your feedback …. and once again many thanks

  8. Frankly speaking the best video i have seen so far with clear and very informative options…. I just have a question, those all in one like Kajabi or thinkfic, can be integrated with your own website, i mean you use them only to create the course ?? then link this somehow with your own page ??? becuse i just started and was planning to use the other way of having my own website -worpress with LMS integrated, however i need an authoring tool that i can create the course , then upload on LMS …. I'm really confused and need your advise … any possible way to have a consultation ??
