Like so many Americans, I had no idea that Somalia was divided — at least I didn't know the history and how independent Somalilanders are.
Of course they should be recognized as their own country! I'm so sick of colonizers' lack of remorse and repentance (and the short-changing of American children when it comes to history, geography and political science!).
