  1. Finally. someone who explains the details of dif bobs. I have super thick course hair. I am told my hair is as thick as an "otter". Stylists want to always to the GOOFY "bowl cut". Why? Because they do not know how to cut hair. I want someday to go get my hair cut by someone like this stylist explaining the cuts and why for short hair. He's awesome with the details. Thank you for explaining the bob haircuts.

  5. Mainly l would show a inspiration pic to a hair stylist lol most of the time it still doesn't look like the pic… And don't say u need to style it because the stylist do style it and still don't look like the cut I want. maybe I need to go to an actual pricey place😂…

In 84 I was in Italy by a hairdresser in Villa Ricca near Napoli, found there the best hairdresser I ever had(even better than a hairstylist in The Hague) He did cut my hair in a Italian bob, short. And told me that it is easy to treat it.Wash your hair, put foam gel in wet hair, then comb it towel dry and style it 🤗

    If you have a longer face or maybe a long, oval face, with your cheekbones, being your widest point, and you want to show less cheekbone, and have some fuller above the cheekbones to the top of the head, and below the cheekbones to below the chin, then, this number four is a good option, and even with some layers blended in.

    Now you may not agree, but I put this exact hairstyle on me, and it made my face look shorter and rounder with a little bit of hair feathering and falling on the sides of the face to make my cheekbones. Not prominent! It actually made my face look totally different shape than what it really is !! So when I go back, and I look at the photos to my hair, long and straight now to the photos of this layered, it looks the shape of the face looks totally different. Exactly what I was going for! I wanted my face shorter and rounder. I wanted below my cheeks to my to my chin to be fuller, my cheekbones to be narrower and above my cheekbones to the top of my head to be fuller, and I was able to accomplish this with some bangs, slight amount, and it is a perfect look on me. It was actually sort of a blend of several hairstyles bob tight cuts to get this perfect Match for my face and I didn’t do it myself licensed stylist. That’s great at Bob cuts, cut my hair and then about a couple weeks later when it was growing out slightly, it was perfect!

    Now I am my hair is longer again to my waist, and mostly straight with a few to no layers if any, one length. And I do have some slight bangs that taper not blunt cut. And I’m so ready to get rid of it, because my hair grows so extremely fast , but every year it grows many many many many inches!

  11. Several months ago I wanted a Box bob, saw one on a woman and loved it on her. My hairdresser cut it for me, it was exactly what I had asked for, and I hate it, hate it, HATED it. I looked like Mrs potatoe head, because I had disregarded that the woman I had admired was 40 years younger and 40 pounds lighter… okay. 30 years younger and 25 lighter. Now I am back to my Lob, and I am a happy camper. Hairdresser is under strict directive, never ever to cut my hair that way again even if I beg.

  13. I wish I could rock this hairstyle.. I have a smaller head with very thick long hair my whole life, it goes with my hourglass shape. I have an oval vase.. I love a sexy bob! I’m looking for a change.

  19. I went to a new hairdresser they gave me a micro bob I hate it, I normally have long in the front, now I feel like I need to cut my hair short because there is nothing else I can do to balance it out. I have medium hair but lots of it, I look like a mushroom!!

  21. @Justin Hickox I cannot find a hairdresser that will take my number one need into consideration and that is, due to a lifelong chronic disabling illness, I cannot do certain movements with my arms. I find that hairstylists haven't really been all that empathetic in regards to this and I just have to go home and figure something out, usually going against the hairstyle or I end up hurting myself more. Ugh!

  23. I love the last bob. I always bring prictures to the salon. I have trouble with shorter haircuts because of how thick my hair is but it's so much faster to style and look glamorous.

  32. I have considered cutting my hair but I'm just not there yet. I do have a question though….have you ever done a video on why certain hair colors turn orange when trying to lighten it to a lighter brown. I'm getting frustrated.

  33. Who on earth goes to the hairdresser and asks for a haircut with just a name? Old-fashioned way, hairdressers used to have magazines with haircuts; you show the one you like and then discuss
