Did you know? If Africa is the most resource rich place on Earth, what did you think the foreign invaders used to trade with them during the great conflicts of Muslim expansion on the continent? Answer, the firearm. To put this all in context, let me explain the scenario then. To the North of Africa the Arabs had controlled those kingdoms(later countries such as Egypt, Libya etc.) They were also Muslims and regularly fought with non-Muslim kingdoms to the west of Africa to increase their influence and need for gold. The Europeans, initially the Portuguese then Spain were first to enter Africa after the fall of the Moors who had controlled those countries earlier. Those Europeans would sell mercenaries to the Muslims and weapons and at the same time approach the African tribes and offer them weapons for slaves too. Yes, they played the WARRING factions against themselves. Now, the African kingdoms were then left in a dilemma:
1. Refuse to take the guns and end up being overtaken by the Muslims or
2. Accept the weapons and use it to defend themselves from the Muslims and also their usual in fighting with other African Kingdoms. Because, if that kingdom refused it, other kingdoms may accept the deal all the same.
I want to point out that the kingdom controlling the area we now call the Congo were not recorded as having any such trade of arms for slaves as their counterparts further north in Africa. Later the Africans who got engaged in the arms for slave trade started switching allegiances from the earlier Potuguese and Spanish Europeans to the new foreigners in the game as the English, French and Dutch. The desire to have superior weapon to defend oneself from perceived enemies was used as a trap to engage in the initial gun for slave trade. But, unbeknown to those Africans were the fate that was in store for the Africans they handed over for the still much coveted gun.
Africans always had a type of prisoner of war practice that would even result in that captured person from another kingdom being even elevated to leader of their adopted people. Africans always fail to see that their understanding of humanity was never always that of people presenting to be their friends/partners/enslavers/colonizers/oppressors. If they only knew what was to come! So, the lessons are clear, their was a better and third option, UNITE against all foreign enemies. Africans have always been purposely kept to argue and fight amongst themselves while others gain control of their land and affairs. This is why even today, we are taught nothing about African history and culture before foreigners invaded the continent. We had our issues just as every other people did and still do today, but the greatest difference is that we never needed to leave our continent to fix our problems as we have everything we need in Africa except UNITY.
We are the ones who had developed advance science and medical knowledge; navigatiinal maps and expeditions all over the world before Columbus; concepts of spirituality that was intertwined in all aspects of our everyday life and not just one day of the week; Pyramids & temples from stone; cutting edge agricultural methods yielding more produce and continued supply; functional staes with strong cultural and family values etc. all by ourselves thousands of years before foreigners came to learn and then later claim them as their creations. Just imagine if we actually taught our children about their real history and culture, do you think we'd have these issues we have as a people today? Yet, we are happy to subscribe to European feudalism and think it was ever designed to liberate anyone, it never worked for them and they jumped at the chance to use Africans as the peasantry class now.
We have been made to be fixated on the gun and not pay attention to the power of UNITY still. Look at it, how many gunslingers have we known that have come and gone? What significant and continuous positive impact have they had on the society they were in? The gun worship has just been another mental enslavement apparatus used by others to keep Africans DIVIDED while others continue to help themselves to the liberties of our inheritance and the right to live as the high functioning Africans we are, everywhere we happen to be.
It's a great feeling to hear you speak like that brother Africans need to come together to solve all of our problems

kabala. What an very clear and structured presentation! educate about the environment, culture and values of citizenship. love who you are as a people.
How long are we going to beg when we are the ones that are holding ourselves back? Who are maintaining these borders? Who are still using colonial rules and laws? It's us black people whom are colonizing ourselves at this point. Why are we giving these colonizers the idea that they are still controlling us? We are acting as little children that are helpless. Nothing comes without sacrifice. Shame on us. Hated ourselves and our culture is all we do now. We ran towards the Western culture which is a betrayal of who we are. Sad.
I honor and pleasure to hear Elder Garvey, thank you so very much for me to click on your platform, blessing to all.

Did you know that Egypt is a so called Middle East country? Why? They claim it is because the Arabs are there, the language used and the religion used. We know that the area now called the Middle East, not including ANY continental African state, was once a part of the African continent but due to wars, the area was resettled by the people there now.
Now, this brings me to the reason why they claim not only Egypt but states such as Sudan, Libya & Somalia, due to the spread of Islam. We now see that African states such as Zambia are defending Chinese police officers vehemently due to a real evidence of misplaced identity and dependency that has debilitated Africans especially on the continent. The land is what is the prize for everyone who entreats African states. If we fail to see that was their goal then and hasn't changed til now, We are bound to a stupid cycle of keep slipping and infantly look to everyone else except our African brothers and sisters to keep us upright and strong but that help will not nor will never come.
The point is as long as we keep ha moving openings for other people to take over our land (as they already have the military might to easily overthrow an already scattered, culturally colonized, identity readjusted, self hating, severely miseducated, unconfident and disunited people on and off the continent) they have resorted to socio-economic and political tactics to slowly but purposely cease the land. We have always suffered as a result of not being aware of how other people go about their dealings with Africans historically, they never play faily and will resort to superior firepower, biological weaponry and even psychological warfare to have their way.
If we don't learn from history we'll keep being a failed student of the subject. Can you imagine an Africa in a few years where it's no longer called by that name? The entire North being claimed by Asia(Middle East) and the rest being a part of Europe? Oh, and what of the ancient people we used to call Africans, a now extinct group just as the Amerindians who Columbus that great discoverer encountered on his great discovery that enlightened the world of their existence and the land. This may read like a scary fictional piece, but what is to stop this from being a reality?
I need to point out that our sister Anne Nhira is now with the ancestors a few days now. Her speech 01:45:00(one hour and forty-five minutes) in the first African History Month conference was very powerful and on point. I want to point out that the sister was very influential, as she was both a TV hist and actress in South Africa though born in Zimbabwe.
Her passing seems most untimely and questionable, and I'd urge especially anyone with like thoughts and have a public presence especially to have some organized full time security. To be honest, I'd love to see it being standard for all our prophets, guides and teachers of our liberation struggle to be shielded and protected by an organized protective team the world over. It is said that this struggle can be likened to a chess game, and it's vital for us to protect the African Empire by protecting truly these off board pieces that provide guidance and perspective to the decisions and actions made by the on board and ALL vital pieces to the COLLECTIVE AFICAN PIECES.
We never view the chess game pieces as that of the oppressors, everyone is VITAL and nobody is a pawn. It's time for us to learn from the lessons of history, and end the elimination of our teachers, guides and prophets. In the words of Redemotion Song by the late great Robert Nesta Marley, 'how long shall they kill our prophets while we stand aside and look? We are being watched and infiltrated online while we not yet have the organiskzed system in place to protect the awaken amongst us that will usher us in the future we deserve.
Be vigilant Africans, observe the attitude and interests of those who may present themselves as friends online, open your eyes! If we know what we stand for it is impossible for the enemy to win! I've seen live and comments sections where many responders are there pushing agendas contrary to African values and also enquiring on places where Africans go to share their thoughts on matters of liberation. These people are usually very aggressively dominant in the conversation or may want to INCITE some kind of mindless violence. The point is we need organized universal protection and our people should be vigilant about impostors and boosters.
I would like to see a discussion of changing the names of areas, rivers, countries, etc. to African names and remove the European names. I think it is ridiculous to call a country Shrimp just because shrimp is found in the waters surrounding Cameroon.
Knowledge is power. Keep it coming
Blessed Everyone!
