  1. Forget Switzerland = it's hard to get a job especially if you are black and not fluent in any of the local languages. As Phrankleen said, research, research. Australia has something similar to Canada regarding permanent residency – it's points based and it has terms and conditions attached, for example it's harder to qualify for permanent residency if you live and study in certain states and postcodes such as New South Wales (Sydney) and Victoria (Melbourne). Australia has a skills shortage in certain areas such as Social Work, Agriculture and Medicine, but it all depends on the state.

  2. Hey phrankleen , take note … The Australia graduate stream only applies to those with masters degree from developed countries like the US, Canada and the UK …. Along side selected career path or profession …

  3. You should have listed Germany: you got 1 year after your studies to search for a job in your area of studies and if you happen to get a job, your job search visa will be translated to a normal work visa that will last as long as your work contract lasts, giving you the mean to ask for residency after 5 years or 4 years in certain cases.

  4. Thanks. An Indian studying in Australia. Plz also tell ppl how hard is it get job and settle in perspective country. As in Australia , it s very difficult to get white collar job if one is not having a PR.

  5. Our people are very lazy to gather necessary information that they need. We can all see that Phrankleen made his research and reading some of the information to us.
Let me add this probably it can help someone, apart from English Speaking Countries that he mentioned, It can be extremely difficult to get decent(professional job) in other European Countries such as Finland, Sweden, Estonia and etc despite their post-study visa without ability to speak their languages. A good example is Germany where German language is required in most job offers. This is why he mentioned that he compressed his list to the four-mentioned countries because he doesn't found other favorable. The discrimination is more intensed in most European countries majorly because of language barriers. If you know you can't just do any job after your graduation, please check your field of study very well to determine your chances to get a job without good knowledge of language of your prospective host country.
Phrankleen has said it all, do your research before you move to any country..

  6. Hello Franklin, I really do appreciate your energy, passion and support towards the vast majority of immigrants and potential immigrants and other target audience you reach out to.

I must admit that your passion, depth of knowledge couple with your eloquence and many other factors has made me glued to your channel ever since I stumbled on it and this has compelled me to subscribe ever since. There is something about you and honestly I'd really like to learn more from you.

  7. I can't still understand why Africans, mostly Nigerians wanting to come abroad for studies.I m not saying university degrees are bad;but I think we are over emphasising too much on it.If one is not coming to study science, maths and technology which is what Africa needs.I don't see any point wanting to abroad to study.80% of people that went to universities will end up doing a job that's not related to what they studied.
Now my point is we should learn skills and be creative;that is the only way we can compete in this tough world of ours.In today's world it's how smart one is that count much not degrees.Self education is the best when one is above 18 years of age.

  8. Hi I have been following you recently. I am based in Australia and what you are affording are based on information on what you are reading online. You were reading the Skilled Occupation List. Yes what you mentioned is correct but migration visa here changes every 6 months. My advise is get a Migration or Education Specialist who will work out a study plan from IELTS, certificate, Diploma etc to Post Graduate. There is no challenge for African here. You pass your test, pay your fees, pick the light study pathway, get a trusted agent and you on your way there.
