Tinkercad is the best cad
Onshape's free courses will have you ready for basic cad modeling in a VERY short amount of time. Take the time up front and learn parametric modeling basics, instead of fighting with tinker cad to get dimensions and multi-part projects correct. You will save yourself more time in the long run.
This was literally me two weeks ago I ran through the spool already
Jist try vintage mouse cases from RetronPrint 😊
I'm here to shill for onshape. I started using it like i used Tinkercad but i could draw my own shapes so a lot less overwhelming when you wanna make complicated designs.
You can learn the basics in like 20 mins and at that point, you can already do so much more than you have been able to with tinkercad
Who are you?
Actually I often test my ideas by building them out of Lego before printing them.
In case you feel creative, just have $2000 to spare
Surprised that the Apple shill didn't wait for some "premium" 3D printer from Apple
The reason you struggle is because tinkercad is a noob trap. It's baby's first CAD software and can only take you so far. Just learn Fusion 360, its so much easier to make things with precision that you know will print right the first time.
If you guys want to try out a Sovol sv06 or the sv08, let us know. 😉
This guy has no charisma
You guys looking for someone knows 3D modeling and also happens to be a surgeon?
Pro Tip: dont use anker make
Using tinkercad is ok for making very basic designs. I used it for a really long time when starting out, but now that i use Fusion 360, i realise how much easier Fusion is when making complicated objects
I expected you mkbhd and the studio to be bambulab folks, you guys should try it out
If you guys wanted to try out a Prusa XL or the MK4, let us know. 😉
Absolutely love using my 3d printer. Although frustrating at times. I’ve been using it as part of my projects for university and some hobby projects like making replica light sabers and video game weapons
😂🔥
I think one of the coolest things I've printed is a hunchback for the Magic Mouse that actually makes it so you can hold it without getting tendonitis. I bought this mouse 8 years ago and I hadn't used it since because it was atrocious, well now I can!
It will be an essential part of every household in the near future so it’s the best to teach yourself 3d modelling asap 😅😊
"but nowadays we've grown up" 😂
I have the same printer from Anker and it is fantastic.
Make a Magic Mouse holder for Andrew
Who’s this new guy now!?
Or maybe get a 3D printer and print the giant millennium falcon lego set
Who knew that the software used for students to do 3D design can also be used by MKBHD and Co? (Tinkercad)
…hey don't diss the legos LOL
Nice. Those Ankermake printers are awesome.
Why not buy the 3D printer and then print individual bricks for you to build the Falcon yourself 😂
“… but nowadays we’ve grown up …”
BOOORING
Why get the set when you can 3D print it?
Would love to see a dedicated video on the stuff you made with this and what you use it for
Cool video. Disappointed it wasn't a loop. 😂
yeah once you said I had to choose between legos and a 3D printer you lost me
This is DIY shopping spree but from the comfort of my room, it’s a terrible idea … (I will get one)
