33rd annual Reed Dance, KZN: 09 September 2017
Thousands of maidens have gathered at King Goodwill Zwelithini’s Enyokeni Royal Palace at KwaNongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal to participate in the 33rd annual Reed Dance. Maidens from as far afield as Mpumalanga‚ Gauteng and Swaziland are in attendance. The provincial Arts and Culture Department has hired 75 buses to transport maidens.
