30 days on Carnivore Diet – experimenting to heal my IBS, leaky gut and bloat


So I’ve completed 30 days on carnivore diet 😳

Results so far have been pretty amazing 🤩

I lost 5 kg, my Bloat is much smaller, inflammation is going down. I have less pain in my stomach! I have no food cravings or flare ups!!!!

I’m eating twice a day usually big meals – atm only beef lamb and chicken and organs.

  1. I’ve been doing carnivore for 6 months and pork and seafood can have stuff in it that upsets our tummies so look out for that. I am not fully healed, but it definitely helps feel much better

  2. Almost 10 months eating this way. I think a lot of the claims of it being a miracle cure are over blown, but I do think it's much healthier for us in general.

  3. I’m starting my 3 weeks. I have had the same experience as you. I lost 5-6 lbs in first 2 weeks. It’s so true. I’m a big foodie and I lost all cravings for the foods and beverages I gave up. I don’t miss them! I also got very tired during week 2. I just ordered no-sugar electrolytes to boost up my energy as we can lose sodium, potassium, magnesium from letting go of all the water weight. I also have to say I spend MUCH LESS on groceries eating this way – and I’m buying grass-fed & pasture-raised animal products – because we don’t buy all the other products that are bad for us. I literally cut my bill down to a third of what I usually spent

  4. My storey similar to yours but I had a Gerd flare up! I'm hoping it will go away in a few days, I think this Gerd also gave me leaky gut and I do get anxiety and depression, I am only two weeks in but I lost weight and I feel more energised, somebody commented that I look well but I think this is because I used to get eczema a little around my eyes but that's totally gone now. Congrats to you for hitting 30 days you look good vibrant and healthy but I know what you mean it gets boring eating meat but that's the thing, we use food to gratify ourselves but its supposed to be eating to be healthy and strong that's the point right, we need to find some other way to have fun I'm sure I can manage that lol

    Adding bacon, butter and eggs more likely will not have any negative effects on your health, BUT, you never know!!! All you really need is red meat, fat and water. Everything else is going to be a treat. But whatever you do, make SURE you learn about oxalates and eat as less as possible of this poison that's in every plant. choose the least oxalate plant and don't consume too much of it. Again, you don't need it, but just in case.

  7. Look into Dr. Zsofia Clemens Paleolithic ketogenic diet (ratio of 2:1 fat to protein) to reverse leaky gut. The magic is in the saturated fat. Happy healing all.

I think another reason the meat helps us is because it’s not contaminated with chemicals …the round up and it’s not GMO… Also, we need the meat amino acids for our muscles …plants do not compare to the meat.. now this being said, that’s why I think the food industrial system is trying to take our meat away and they’re producing that fake meat in the lab, they know that will make us sick. They are watching this movement with people healing their self from the carnivore diet and that doesn’t make big Pharma happy. Lol I’ve been on this diet for about two months and I don’t miss the snacks… I don’t miss the chocolate. I don’t miss any of it. I am determined to restore my gut…

  10. Quick question-I want to try a 30 day carnivore but I am scared of losing weight. I am already skinny at 140 and 5"10 (65 years old). ANy suggestions for NOT TO LOOSE WEIGHT ON CARNIVORE?

I know this is an older video and I’m probably late to the game for responding but try to avoid chicken and pork fat the protein is OK especially if you can find it organically raised but the fat of those animals is not great for you so lean chicken lean pork and then cooked in olive oil avocado oil or butter

  12. Tried carnivore for a few days but way too restrictive. Is there any supplements i can take to cure sibo as I'm not willing to eat a diet solely of meat

  13. 55 days carnivore and I’m feeling better. I did a 40 day fast, (spiritual reasons), then went strait to carnivore. Was feeling fantastic at the end of the fast, and for another 10 or so days, then chronic fatigue started again, I believe it was triggered by coffee and dairy, which I’d reintroduced on the 5th day of carnivore. So I’ve been dairy and coffee free 20 days and beginning to get energy back again. Dermatitis cleared up, more strength, less fatigue. A friend told me it took her 4 months to have IBS clear up, so as far as I’m concerned, I’m now carnivore. Very few cravings, I love eating meat, and from my understanding, the best benefits may take many months. Looking forward to more improvement. Thanks for your post
