  1. I was going to tell my story but as I typed away I realized it was just me typing and trying to understand my diet problem. I am doing the right things but have hit a wall and will just have to figure it out as I go. I'll continue to watch though I am already following this routine. 60 years old, 5' 6" currently 180 lbs from 203lbs in 7 weeks. Despite that I feel like I'm failing.

  2. Do you know why a woman that went Keto 5 days later needed sugar because she had low blood sugar almost shakey and passed out?
    Diet was, lots of fat, meat ,no veg no carb etc
    She’s still not in ketosis even 8 days later now

  3. There is no one size fits all. I have been deep into ketosis and lost no weight, I have also not been in ketosis and lost weight. I no longer get fixated on it in the short term. I focus on how I feel.

  4. Hey people. I’ve been in ketosis in the past and successfully lost weight several times. This time I’ve been eating no sugar no carbs except for leafy greens and cruciferous with high fat and intermittent fasting of 12 to 24 hours for over a week. I cannot exercise cause unfortunately I fell on a hike and crunched my knee and ankle and I am recovering, but it’s never taken this long before. Does anybody have any advice? I keep waiting for it to kick in but I wake up starving every morning and I test my blood and I’m nowhere near ketosis. I’ve checked all of the products that I use… but I mostly eat clean, just raw ingredients m, and nothing has any trace amounts of sugar. I’m not eating berries or nuts or cheeses or anything that deceptively has a lot of carbs.

  5. Thanks for the data point I didnt realize I wanted. My liver stores 2000 calories of sugar/glycogen. That means that If I have fasted overnight while sleeping, dont eat all day today (day 1), by the time I wake tomorrow (day 2) morning or at most by noon, I have depleted all of my stored glycogen. At that time, I will naturally be in ketosis. Easy to think of, a little more difficult to do.

  7. Hi I'm new, I'm 52 years old, with health issues , that I think would be resolved with weight loss. I started the Keto about a week ago, but I'm confused. Dr .Bergs videos say to fast 20 hrs or the least 18 and only eat 2 meals 4 hours apart. So can you exsplain this to me please. I really need to get better.

  8. Mostly great advice. What about all the saturated fat you’re taking in, though? Regardless of the weight loss, loading up on fat with more than ones daily allowance is bad for buildup in your arteries.

  9. She's advertising. Just cut-out sugars and carbs do some intermittent fasting and you'll get there. Also look up a real guy right here on YouTube channel, Butter Bob. He's got the plan and he tells it in his story, Nothing for sale in packages.

  10. So many generalisations, inconsistencies and missing information in this video. The body can also use proteins for energy if forced to, any health coach should know that at least. Keto has serious issues, including compliance, strain on the kidneys, liver and GIT as well as very serious questions over it’s long term effects.
