  1. Let's not forget that before Brown, in 1947 our Mexican American people and progressive Chicano lawyers broke through the 14th amendment glass sealing, which desegregated California schools in Mendez v. Westminster during the Warren's Supreme Court. FYI…"Liberty for all, chains for none" Frederick Douglass.

  2. Even though some of the comments below come from people of low IQs, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I have seen other documentaries on these gentlemen, but I have learned some new information. I would like to see some modern day African American achievers. Thank you much for sharing

  3. There are many modern extraordinary Black Americans that should be featured. While honor is due these great individuals of the past, I tire of hearing of these same humans in reviews of black excellence.

  4. Jackie Robinson wasn't one of our leaders and I'm not too sure about Fredrick Douglass. Our leaders are normally gunned down or imprisoned or muffled. Sorry to disappoint but we choose our own leaders.

  5. So when are you gonna tell the stories about the slaves who were well cared for and often loved by their owners who depended on them greatly??

  6. Wow, back when Juan Williams was actually doing something good for blacks instead of promoting their modern day slavery and ignorance by promoting the Communist Dems who have done more damage to the black communities in modern history.
