Gentle parenting means not beating your kids. Actually treating them with the respect of a human that they are and teaching them how to identify and express their feelings and thoughts. Immature adults cannot gentle parent because they usually lack the emotional maturity themselves to demonstrate to the learning child. Teachers use this. They don't have to hit or abuse a kid to get them to listen or learn.

There is nothing wrong with discipline! However sometimes it can get to close to abuse which is a big problem in the black community….im from the south & I’ve experienced some excessive beatings!

The intro was so funny. I remember one time in the 90s, I cut up so bad in Walmart. My mom BOUGHT a belt, tore me up and said when you finish I’ll be over here by the laundry detergent 😂. Then returned the belt otw out 🤦🏾♂️
